Cat House Café — Restaurant in Memphis

Terrible!!! STAFF IS AWFUL. STOOD In front of two workers waiting to order, neither of which said I needed to place my order elsewhere. When I was finally told by another girl working, the gentleman taking our order was rude as well. He acted annoyed and sarcastic when I would ask questions. He would laugh and cut up with the other staffers, but customer service skills were insulting. The price of the food is laughable! Not that I expected amazing. However, I expected something better for what I paid. Pizza was nasty. Hot dog was overboiled that it split at both ends. Cheeseburger had nothing, not even cheese on it. We weren't even told where to get the condiments, and the dressings for the burger weren't even offered. Yes, I wanted to complain, but what good would it have done. It was my mistake for not reading beforehand the Google reviews and how poor they were. The Zoo is awesome, the Cafe was the worst experience, and I'm glad we saved it for last. I was there today. The absolute worst food EVER. Over priced to the MAX. I needed a fly swatter just to eat the $24.00 garbage meal they said was a burger and fries. The refills are not free. The table spacing is terrible. You would be sitting shoulder to shoulder with someone you never met before you finish eating. The line was almost out the door with those people standing over you watching you eat. I don't have enough time to say what all was wrong with this place. It wasn't that great. You're better off leaving the zoo and eating at Taco Bell. The place was dirty, the food took a long time even with few patrons, and the food wasn't great after you finally get it. On my visit, another worker from someplace else within the zoo was extremely rude to the new guy that was making sandwiches.this guy ordering was a complete douchebag.
