My family and I decided to try this place on August 24, 2024. Luckily for me there wasn't a lot of people inside the building, so it was easy to ordered our foods. When we sat down in our seats I looked around the restaurant. The first thing I thought about was the seats we was sitting in. They looked a little outdated and probably need to be replaced. The table we have was a little wobbly and next to me was a sticking pad which had a lot of flies in them. When the food came out and when I started eating I forgot all about the issues with the seats and table. I decided to get the Loaded Philly Steak Potato and baked beans. The baked beans was pretty good probably needed something extra to make it outstanding. The Philly Steak Potato were just delicious. It simply steaks, peppers, and cheese but everything blended together well with the potato. I also have some of my grandparents fries and they were hot and delicious. When you get over how the restaurant looks inside and try the food you won't regret it.

I liked this place a lot. The BBQ sauce was not overly sweet, not spicy and not to tangy. It was a nice blend. Great portion sizes for the price. The beans were cooked just right and i actually liked the coleslaw (which is unusual for me). Wish the decor was a little classier and that they didnt use hamburger buns for their bread. You order at the counter and pick it up yourself. While the employees were very nice, this is not a place where you should expect to be waited on. Don't let the exterior make you shy away. I will visit again when I'm back in the area.

I hadn't been to Reese's in years because I'm not usually in this neighborhood. But it's good to see nothing has changed the food was amazing the perfect amount of sauce and meat. There was so much meat on the sandwich I couldn't hold it had to put it down and eat with a fork. And one of the things I love is sweet tea, tastes like it was just made. Nice clean store also. Thought I'd take a picture of the old payphone hadn't seen that in decades

Ate here based on previous reviews while passing through Memphis on way back to Atlanta. Wife and I had BBQ sandwiches with FF and tea. Total was $20 which I thought was pricey. Cole slaw was straight out of a container. Most disappointing was the BBQ which was probably good if I could have tasted it but it came smothered in a sauce that was very salty. So much sauce ran out of the sandwich we had to eat them with a fork. No choice was given if you wanted sauce or if there was a choice of mild or hot sauce. The person running the place was a non-talkative Asian fellow who sat watching the 20-display security camera prominently set up in the dining room. I like eating at out of the way joints, but I will pass this one by next time I am...
