I am deeply disturbed by the recent experience my father and I had at this establishment. As a loyal customer who has supported this place since high school, I am appalled by the way the owner treated us. My father, the kindest person you could meet, simply requested an extra sauce, and the owner had a complete meltdown. He screamed at my father, accusing him of trying to get free items and ranting about working long hours. This outburst was completely unprovoked and unprofessional.
My father was respectful and polite throughout, but the owner's behavior was aggressive and humiliating. It was clear that his frustration with his job was taken out on a customer who did nothing wrong. As someone who works in the food industry, I understand the pressures of the job, but this does not excuse the abusive treatment of customers.
This incident has completely eroded our trust and respect for this business. We have been regular patrons and have recommended this place to many others, but after witnessing such unacceptable behavior, we will never return. No one deserves to be treated with such disrespect, and businesses should not be supported when their owners act in such a deplorable manner. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages the business to reflect on their treatment...
Read moreMade order for delivery. Was told 45 minutes. Over an hour went by no one has shown up. Called to check and was told delivery person had come by and no one answered. Was told they called, yet no missed calls on my phone. Was told they rang door bell. It's painted over, can't even push it. We have a dog in the house. If some one knocks, we know about it. They even said the dog was outside and no one was with it. We do not let our dog out a unattended. They then told me I could come pick up new food that the driver would not come back. Why should I have come there because of the fact their driver can't make proper deliveries? I think the driver either got lost it just didn't bother with making the delivery. No apologies were made. None the less, you've lost a customer after this. So, after finishing call with hideaway, called Uxbridge house of pizza. Placed order for delivery. Wass told 30-45 minutes for arrival time. Food arrived in 42 minutes. The complete process was handled with courtesy and great service attitude. Make Uxbridge house if pizza a go to...
Read moreTwo stars... only because of the woman that always takes our order...she's always been great...bomb service. It's too bad the manager felt the need to talk to me because I won't be back now. I get that things happen but will call as a heads up when there's an issue...have never asked for anything...and always try to be polite. So when our "Caesar" showed up as romaine and about 20 croutons, I called to let them know...because at $9...it was 4 steps past over priced. Manager got on the Phone and I literally got: "so we missed the cheese...you want someone to deliver it?"...in a tone that said I was being ridiculous. I told him I didn't want one of their guys to bring cheese on a Saturday night...just wanted to point it out (so the next person paying $9 got reasonable value)...and maybe a sincere "sorry bout that". His tone the entire time was clearly that of someone telling me to love it or lump it. Message received. Lumping it and will spend elsewhere. Treat your counter staff well...and maybe let them manage the place because things...
