Terrible experience for food in Merrill! Very bad customer service! The owner intentionally bold face lied about every word she said when I called her to get a refund, she said my boyfriend TOOK the wrong sandwich ( no! He was handed the wrong sandwich) she said he was given the bag of food ( no he was given a single sandwich wrapped in tinfoil) she said he ran off and they tried to stop him (no he canât run, he walked to the car) we waited well over 15 minutes and all they could make is one sandwich ( which was the wrong sandwich)...I told dave forget the fries and onion rings the dog is going to over heat in this hot sun. when I corrected her she hung up on me...then refused to take my call. I left a message. Then she called me back, i told her thatâs no way to treat a customer I want a refund. She said ok on refund, so we drove to grand stand and gave them the wrong sandwich, and asked for our refund. We were told no, and that we already received the refund....NO we didnât receive it!....but Finally we got our refund. We will never eat at this business again, not because of the wrong sandwich or the 15+ minute wait time in 85 degree weather for half our order, but because of the snarky boy who screamed OMG REALLY! When I ask to speak to someone in charge, or the fact the workers didnât want to fix the situation, and mostly because the owner was rude, lied, and hung up. You called me, on my personal cell, after I left and the call was dropped. I called you back. I then refunded your money on our computer system and called the shop to let them know. They were confused not like realizing you had paid cash and that though the transaction was refunded they needed to give you the cash had you paid by card it would have been complete already. You did not wait 15 minutes as the ENTIRE ordeal took 20 minutes and I have a timed register statement showing this. Your boyfriend was told his order would be right up and chose to leave. I did not lie. I said the staff yelled out the order and he âtookâ the wrong sandwich as in was given and left (not stole). I said bag - as I said today I am not going to squabble with you about what packaging it was it in, it is irrelevant. I didnât say âran offâ I said left, which he did. Your âone sandwichâ was made and ready, we were waiting for your fries to drop, he was told this and said he didnât want to wait. I apologized, offered to get you the order and refunded your money. Not super sure what else you would expect. It was a very busy day and my staff is human and makes mistakes. A young person made a mistake and rather than approach and have a discussion you called and berated him and made him feel terrible.
