Towne Café — Restaurant in Merrimac

Was house-sitting near here and my friend said it's a must go place. And I will never get any other coffee shops sandwiches, coffee, anyting if I have a say in it it will be Common Grounds. The staff is patient, amazing, and knowledgeable. They'll suggest things if you're new. My friend I brought the second time I went that lives in Worcester area which is almost an hour and a half away. She is very indecisive and needed some coddling LOL. And again the staff was very sweet and gracious helping her decide. And listed so many options right off the top of their head. The conversations great the food is amazing coffee is amazing. Am updating my review by adding what a personable place Towne Cafe is. I'm an avid road cyclist. Today they made me a delicious egg bagel sandwich to go. Double wrapped it. I tucked it into my bike bag, and 20 miles later ate it overlooking the ocean. Yummy! This is definitely my go-to place: the food is so consistently fresh, tasty, high-quality AND - the people serving you couldn't be nicer. Also, the prices are very reasonable. We used to go to the common grounds for their delicious sausage peppers and onions...so today we went to the new place that tookover and we asked if the sausage subs were the same and the owner said absolutely to my wife so she ordered 2 subs....this guy lied because the peppers and onions were not even close to CG use to do and the sausage was small cut up not like the full size sausage from b4...now i wish my wife didnt tell him that he only charged for 1 sub ...we will c how long...
