VARSITY CLUB MERRIMAC — Restaurant in Merrimac

Got seated right away then waited for 15 minutes before a nice waitress from the bar area had to come help us because our waitress had 3 table and was to busy to say be right with you. Then we ordered the 3 sampler appetizer and it says everything but the escardo. Which is fine so we order and to come to find out there are 3-4 they won't let you do. Manager/owner disputed it was stated on menu even after waitress showed otherwise. So i give 2 stars because our waitress that came down to help us is was as helpful as she could be. Well was two stars till we got all are food at same time and everything was cold. Taking home to warm up....

I recently went here, let’s start off with the fact that I was served UNDERCOOKED chicken, next there was a person who won pull tabs and they didn’t give them their winning, and their excuse was because they are not making enough money. Lastly the place was so dirty there were ants EVERYWHERE!!! I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy going here.. save your money and find somewhere worth it and you’ll have a good time at. I went for the Friday fish fry. The service was great. The staff super friendly. The fish, OK. But why is everything served in little plastic containers.? Dressing for your salad, served in plastic, baked beans served hot in plastic, coleslaw comes in a little plastic container, the drawn butter for my broiled fish came in plastic too.
