D W Pizzeria Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Merrimack

For the past few months, we have ate at this restaurant several times. The owners are a sweet older husband and wife. They were born in Greece and when you enter the small, quaint restaurant, there are pictures displayed on the wall behind the register. The pictures give customers a brief look of the history of the couple's life together and Greek living, which includes the husbands time serving in the army and about a dozen landscape pictures, showing some of Greece's beautiful architecture and breath-taking scenery.

The cute couple don't just own this small town restaurant, they both work and run the business together everyday. They are more than happy to talk about the pictures on the wall and they are extremely friendly making it easy to enjoy a pleasant conversation.

It's rare to come across a couple that has been together for such a long time and are still happy to be with each other. A couple who literally eats, sleeps, works, and spends all of their time together, never seeming to tire of each others company. They wake up together, work beside each other all day, everyday, spend every bit of their spare time together, and always appear to be completely content and happy. That's a very RARE thing to come by these days. It is living proof and gives hope to all who has lost faith in the meaning of true love by actually seeing that SOULMATES really do exist. So not only does this place serve extremely good food, they make sure to make any adjustments to the menu to satisfy a customer. They will prepare your meal anyway the customer asks, even if it's completely different than the menu states they offer. They take pride in making a meal per the customers request, taking the time to confirm exactly what you want, and ensuring you leave with exactly what was ordered.

In case you are someone who doesent care about service or if you are not one for great food, good conversation, or learning/looking at the greek culture, another thing this charming restaurant offers is a chance to see the longest plant vine in the world. The vine starts from the moment you open the door. It twists and turns along and above the booth railings, starting from where you first walk in at the building entrance, extending it's way down the length of the building, continues to wrap all the way back around, and then follows the same path back to the front of the entry way. My family has been going to DW for years. We always knew what to expect and that it would be fantastic. The place was charming and great no nonsense staff. I was excited when they opened back up recently since we've been wanting to get a pizza again from them. The updates though very nice, extremely lacked any charm. The staff was young, but polite. No issues there. Pick up was very easy. Got the pizza home and that's when I realized it was not what I was used to. First we had ordered something slightly different from our usual (our usual was the Green Thumb, but that was no longer on the menu). We had the New York pizza. The toppings were very sparse, nothing at all like they used to do. The crust was very plain, not a nice chew like before. None of it was necessarily bad, but it wasn't great either. It seems that the ingredients are less amount and inexpensive. Overall a decent place still, but nothing like what it used to be. I'm rather sad about it and may now start to look around for another...

D W Pizzeria Family Restaurant, was an exceptional experience! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming environment. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The pizza was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. Each slice was a delight! If you're looking for a fantastic meal in a family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely a five-star experience! My kids are also obsessed with their pizza.
