Pretty average looking place, so I was really surprised when our food came. Super friendly and on the spot with service at boot! I got the double meat cheeseburger and it was so big I had to squish it to get it in my mouth.... barely. And the french fries were delicious, some crunchies on them.

Very good food for the middle of nowhere. The prices are fair for the location. You're 30 min tot he closest city, but for people who work in the area, this is good mood food. Menu has good selection. Food is always hot and fresh.

Typical diner food and Tex-Mex dishes prepared mostly in the Concho Valley style. If you like mom-and-pop holes in the wall like I do, look no further. Pricier than I expected but I'd definitely go back again sometime.

Many restaurants have come and gone in Mertzon, but Rico's has been here more than 15 years, with consistently high quality. Everything is delicious, from burritos to burgers, and breakfast is great too. It's not cheap, but operating in a small town never is. Rico's is a gem out here...

First visit and will follow up eventually just in case it was an off day.. ordered the chicken fajita nachos and got half an onion on some chips, almost no cheese, beans, or chicken.. they were very busy and the rest of my partys food all looked very...
