**Update after business responded:
Hello!
Google reviews are for unbiased and honest opinions that will help other potential customers make a decision on whether or not they decide to try any given place.
The only reason I tried the food, was because of the reviews. However once I tried the food, I realized they were either fake reviews, or the chef was having an off day (or you just buy poor quality food).
My review was 100% honest based on the meal I had. Whether you agree, or not, that’s not a concern of mine.
My initials are G.V., you are saying it’s suspicious to use them as opposed to my full name? I wonder, had the food been even of decent quality and I left a favorable review, would it be an issue then? I think not.
All food establishments have off days, it’s just the way it goes. Plates may be off, dishes may be off, etc. It’s okay to have “offs”, but best to be honest as was my review.
After your response, I can sense some aggressiveness. I absolutely would never recommend Birdies to anyone I ever interact with.
Best! G.V.

Original review: Place was cool inside.
Fish meal was not very good, fish pieces were on small side- almost like extra large fish sticks (although used to giant fish pieces from a like place in Sunland) and the batter had zero flavor. The fish was on the tough side, almost like chicken.
The cole slaw had so much celery seed, one bite and was done.
The clam chowder, 3 clams in my bowl and was lacking flavor. Kind of cheesy.
The 10 fries on my plate were probably the only item that was worth the calories. Oh, the soda was refreshing.
I personally would never return and would not recommend if you are looking for a delicious, all around fish fry. I suppose it’s a safe and easy option for those living in the...

KARAOKE Monday nights is a hidden gem... lots of turns sometimes 2-3 times per hour... FANTASTIC sound system.... sing or just listen! The DJ is fantastic!
Very reasonably priced makes this gem an absolutely AMAZING value.
Lots of fun and good natured locals to visit with.....
Great place for cocktails and drinks! Plenty of parking and inside a secured community so plenty safe for you and your vehicles!

Read moreThe price was great and the food was hot and delicious. We ordered the all can eat fish fry and the first plate came quickly. Our waitress came and checked on us often until we were ready to order seconds. We flagged down one of the other servers and got it ordered. My major complaint is out of the hands of the owners. We got there and the main dining room was closed for the night, so we had to sit in the bar area. No big deal except for the loud, drunk guy. It was a real atmosphere downer. But like I said, this is not a fault of the restaurant. I will come here again for...
