Zamora's Tortilleria — Restaurant in Mesquite

We stopped here after googling different places. We like try local, different and new resturaunts. The area is a little rough but this new little taqueria surprised us!... The food was 8/10, everything looked fresh and you could tell everything was homemade. Homemade tortillas were a +. There were different mini salsas by register. It would have been alot more nice and appealing if they were in a salsa bar style setup rather than just different bowls. Love the concept! You go in order what you want from the deli style counter! You can actually see all the menu like the taquerias inside the grocery stores. Everything was very filling!... Very clean and customer service was very good. Wish there was a drink fountain but you can purchase cans from small cooler. Will definitely be there this weekend to try tamales and posole! This is a must...

❤️ this place! I walked in and was immediately welcomed from Eugene. I let him know it was my first time and I asked him for suggestions. The food looked and smelled amazing. There were so many options to choose from. He thoroughly walked me through all his dishes and was offered samples from each. My favorite was the chicken due to the tenderness and perfect amount of spices. To top it off the tortillas are made fresh with each order too! The rice and beans made my dinner complete. I give this place 2 thumbs up and will be returning frequently and will be recommending his cooking to all my friends and family! Thanks again Eugene for the spot on customer service and great food! You know those days when you're wandering down a strange road, and a little taqueria pops up on the side.? I love a hole in the wall taqueria. They're always the best! Zamora's Tortilleria has definitely landed on my map! First, I walk in,and I am greeted like an old friend. I'm the only gringo in the joint, which always bodes well, and the food?!!! Beyond delicious! The meat was tender and such flavor! The tortillas are hand made, and the chips and salsa are heaven, and the agua frescas were divine. So many choices, such good prices, and the genuine smiles made this a stop worth going out of the way for. Thanks for an amazing break in a day that needed saving....
