When I have problems with local McDonald's it always seems to be this particular location. Arrived to McDonald's today at 10:28am and asked what time they switch to lunch. 10:30am was their response. Told them I would wait the two minutes because my kid wanted a happy meal and not breakfast. They told me I could not wait in line for another minute despite no other vehicles being present so I had to circle the lot. Upon pulling back through the drive thru at now 10:31am the cashier said hold on and I sat at the menu screen four more minutes before they finally responded to take my order. Ordered a chicken nugget happy meal with a milk and cherry frozen drink. After paying I was ushered to a numbered parking spot since they didn't have anything prepared for lunch. After ten minutes the food came out and they forgot the milk. Upon telling the employee he got rude and said I hadn't ordered one just the cherry drink. I told him we had and repeted the order. He said well you didn't pay for it so if you want it you'll have to pull around and order again. I placed my mobile order through the app. I used one of my rewards points and the guy who was taking orders at the speaker decided to MODIFY or REMOVE my rewards redemption in order to charge me full price when I pulled up to the window. Not only did they charged me full price but also tried CHARGING me DOUBLE by stating the charge "doesn't appear" on their system. I showed them my bank regarding the amount OVER CHARGED and they still ignored it and requested me to pay again.
After going back and forth about their mess they said the order was somehow "now showing in their system". They refused to acknowledge and honor my reward points used when placing my order. They still charged me full price. Not even a partial refund. What a scam!
I drove off extremely upset only to get back on the drive thru line – the bag they handed me was the WRONG ORDER. When I finally pulled up to the window AGAIN no one ever apologized. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit meal with OJ for my son, and 2 sides of hash browns.
I pay the $15. Get to the window and get my bag. I'm sitting there waiting for my drink. Lady just stares at me like im holding the line up..... I said I have an orange juice with my meal. Said I know it will be a few minutes. How does it take a few minutes for OJ but I got my meal immediately? I check the bag to make sure everything is inside. The sandwich wrapper says Sausage Mcmuffin.
I get home and it's ham. Now my son won't eat it. Also, there was no cheese. Wait, there was a small trace of cheese on the top biscuit that seemed the like biscuit was on some other sandwich then went on my sandwich. What did I pay $15 for????
Now I have to unwrap everything before I leave, as if checking my bag everytime wasn't bad enough.
How hard is it really? There was 1 person in front and 1 person behind me... that's it.
