As Houston transplants to Culver over 20+ years ago, we can honestly say we have been waiting for something close to home that serves more of a traditional Mexican food. Every plate of food we have tried in the many times we have stop to eat has always been delicious and always made from scratch. Not to mention the amazingly tasty lime water, so delicious. The folks who work there are beyond welcoming and accommodating to the wife and I every time we eat there. I love their homemade tortillas/chips, and often get them to go as well. Service was nice, but slow. Atmosphere was nice enough. But $14.99 for Nachos Supreme - I waited 20 minutes with nobody else in the restaurant and finally got a styrofoam container with Tostidos rounds smothered in Velveeta and shredded lettuce, with a sparse anount of dried out carne asada - think of the worst $4 bowling alley nachos you ever had. No sauces, no salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream, no utensils. I had to ask for napkins and a bag. Hopefully...
