The Last Stop — Restaurant in Metropolis

Ok, i didnt actually have the food BUT this place is cool. Great atmosphere and jukebox, the owner is a big Cubs fan and how can you like baseball and not like the Cubs? And i spoke to a man there who had the most interesting dichotomy of jobs ever…like polar opposite jobs. Prison guard/maintenance and he also raises and sells goats. And he was really awesome to tslk to. I just wish he didnt have that thing that he had when he was in his 20’s so there could be more of his awesomeness out there in the world but that is life.

Mike is the best! We came in from Minnesota and were making a stop on our way to Florida. This was by far the best experience we have ever had at a local bar. Welcoming, accommodating, kind, and more than anything, made us feel at home! Mike and the other locals at the bar made fantastic conversation and made us start to ask ourselves if we could make the night last longer! We want to sincerely thank them and could not have been any more pleased with our experience. Will definitely be back even though it is 12 hours from where we live, we say ‘Stop by!’ You will not...
