Jimmies — Restaurant in Mexico

Jimmy's is sooooooo freakin gooood!!! Did cheeseburgers are fantastic as all the food is good. My ultimate favorite is the CHEESECAKE SUNDAE!!! Honestly when I ordered it I didn't expect it to be as fabulous as it was. My husband got the s'mores Sunday and it was very very good as well... the only thing that I don't like about Jimmy's is I just heard a couple days ago that they are selling the place and closing😭😭😭 that literally broke my heart in many different places💔💔💔.. in this area Rumford in Mexico we are limited on places to eat that are actually edible, tasty and yummy. The best pizza place House of Pizza closed also now we don't have good pizza around. And now Jimmy's closing😭😭 we waited all winter long for them to open up to actually have some good food around here. Four stars is not enough for them they deserve 20.. we just moved here not too long ago so we haven't had everything on the menu. But I'm pretty sure it's fabulous like everything else but it really sucks I'm not going to get the chance.... one last thing that I did want to say is for some of the reviews people gave one star because they cannot afford the food...... you should not give a restaurant one star because you cannot afford the food!!! That's just wrong in...

I would like to share the experience we just had at Jimmies in Mexico. I am absolutely disgusted. The sweetest elderly man was in front of us getting ready to order. He steps up to the window and I did not hear exactly what he said, but it must’ve been along the lines of asking what kind of ice cream they had. Well, we heard the women working response clear as day. In the rudest possible way, she told the man something along the lines of she is cooking and doesn’t have time to list the kinds of icecreams they have and for him to decide what he would like & down went the window. (A gentleman to the side directed the man to the menu and he did end up ordering)

In result we were disgusted and left. Having family who is in the small business world I have seen first hand how hard it is to get good, reliable workers these days so I decided to message them on their Facebook page in hopes to get in touch with the owner to make them aware of the situation. Well, here is there response. Best of luck to them, but I am even more disgusted that this was the OWNER that treated this elderly man so poorly.

SO GOOD! Food is vastly improved under new ownership. Fussy adult son loved his corn dog, homemade chips, hot dog, and French fries. I had French fries and fried chicken sandwich on a Kaiser roll, both if which were excellent. The chicken was moist, all white meat, and a lot of it, but I'd make the trip for the French fries alone-they were phenomenal! The other person in our party had the steak and cheese sub and also gave that rave reviews. Great portion sizes, prices lower than I'd expect for the quality we received. Steak and cheese sub (today's special) with onions, peppers, and a side of homemade chips was $8.99. Thanks, Jimmies! We'll be back soon! EDIT 8/16/21: ADDED PHOTOS OF...
