New favorite ice cream spot—wish we’d come sooner!

As a local mom and publisher of Macaroni KID, I spend a lot of time checking out family-friendly places—and 3B Ice Cream came highly recommended by my readers. I finally stopped by with my (very energetic and very damp) crew, and let me tell you: you all did not steer me wrong.

The staff were friendly and completely unphased when we showed up with multiple kids soaked from what started as an innocent “just go in the creek, but only up to your knees” situation (spoiler: no one stopped at their knees). No judgment—just smiles, great service, and giant portions of delicious ice cream.

Everything was super tasty, the prices were fair, and the serving sizes were so generous my kids couldn’t finish theirs—which, if you know my kids, is saying something.

Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is 100% worth a stop. Bonus: your kids will be too busy eating to argue for a solid seven minutes. That’s what we call a...

Hands down one of my favorite places to go for ice cream when I'm back home. It is a must have during the summer and hotter days throughout the year. Service is always on the friendly side and haven't really had any complaints as far as I can remember in about 15+ years. I usually go for the strawberry cheesecake, but I do stray away occasionally to be adventurous a little bit.

Waffle cones are the way to go, the price makes up for the up charge and stick with the small cause your eyes are usually bigger than your stomach. Pictured is what a small is, which is about 2 heaping scoops on most days.

They have rotating flavors for seasonal times and do sundaes and milkshakes as well. Like I've said, no real big complaints and the hand dipped ice cre is the...

I’ve been going here for years and I can say the ice cream is delicious. We went in September 9th 2019, and I got a sundae and it was just liquid and in a cup instead of the actual dish it comes in so I couldn’t even eat it without spilling it. so I asked politely if I could just have my money back and the 2 little boys working argued with me about why I didn’t want it. Finally after 5 minutes of arguing they agreed to return my money and then proceeded to gossip about the situation as if it were middle school and I wasn’t still standing there. I have to say I’m disappointed a place with such good ice cream is so cheap with labor that they hire such young, impolite kids. You could get better service out of...

Dang! I’ve driven by here a few times, but it’s 90° today so I decided to stop. Wow! The lemon blueberry crunch was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever eaten. It reminds me of my favorite creamery on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and that’s saying a whole lot! I had a small (see photo) dish and it was huge! They have a great selection and the service was fast and prices reasonable. Yum!! (And the guy sitting in the back yard next to the stream videoing his dog eating ice cream was like the perfect ending to my visit.)
