Boggs Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Middlebourne

So this will be a little lengthy and I am sorry for that. First, let me just say the food is pretty good. The servers and girls behind the counter are so rude, though. I understand that it gets pretty overwhelming and busy in there, but that is no excuse to treat people the way they do! We are paying customers, willing to tip for good service EVEN IF IT IS A TAKE OUT ORDER! You like money don't you? That is why you are there right? Learn the name of the game, and treat people good like the woman manager with the short brown hair does. I applaud her for dealing with those type of girls! She probably constantly has to pick up their slack as they act like lazy, mouthy teenagers. You wont get far in life in this small town acting like that, but you probably already know that. Take this review for what it is, in April 2019, because this could change. They probably won't be there long, and maybe the next ones will be better. Called earlier in the day yesterday to see when they close and asked when they stop taking orders because I get out of work later and I didn’t want to place an order and it be 5 minutes before close. Girl on the phone said they stop taking orders at 6:30. So I get off of work at 6 give them a call at 6:13 a girl answers the phone asks me to hold, no problem. Then I was put on hold for 5 minutes so I decided to call back only to find out they put me on hold and unplugged the phone as I was met instantly with the answering machine multiple times trying to call back. I have spent hundreds at this establishment when it was still under the original ownership of the boggs family and have eaten here for years as a I grew up in Middlebourne. This one bad experience will be the reason I never return as I felt blatantly disrespected. I loved this place. Huge amount of cheese curds for the price of $5.99. I mean like huge. Awesome. And their HOMEMADE buttermilk ranch dressing.. It's awesome. I also had the cheese steak in pizza dough bread... Even half was plenty enough for me. In fact I'm STILL eating the leftovers. I think overall including a large sweet iced tea... it came to roughly $ 14. Which is about average price for Tyler county. Ill DEFINATELY be returning to this place.
