Middlebourne Galaxy Food Center — Local services in Middlebourne

The store was clean and had a nice selection of produce but a lot of the meat was brown and the fish was out of date and still on the shelf. I did buy some cupcakes and they were very stale and not good. 5 of the 6 cupcakes are still sitting on my table because even the kids won’t touch them, which is a first. All of the employees were super friendly though and I will return and just not buy from the bakery again but my cashier Amy must of been having a bad day. She had an attitude the entire time and wasn’t very helpful. She smashed foods on top of breads even though I put the bread on the back of the belt. She reached over everything to bag them underneath other food for some reason. Then she wouldn’t turn the bags towards me she just sat and stared until I turned the bags. In the end I asked her if I got all of my bags and she looked at me and looked away completely ignoring me and started joking and talking to another employee. So maybe she’s bipolar 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know I’ve only been there twice but if this is a regular thing I would have to deal with I will drive to New Martinsville reisbecks instead because I’ve never had any issues...

Great place to shop in the local area and prices seem to be reasonable and food products seem to be checked often and replaced with new. Wish the owner would hire when he post hiring sign out front if the store for full time or part time. This place is horrible. Do not shop here the right the prices are overrated. You can go to Walmart and get the exact same thing for cheaper. And me and my daughter went there and the woman decided to talk back to my daughter, which was none of her business so this place is horrible. Don’t shop here go to Walmart or go somewhere else I repeat do not shop here. It’s the worst place ever has not...
