Got 2 traditional root beer floats, a muddy cow, and a small monkey's uncle. Food wasn't bad (though I was surprised for the floats we were just given a cup with soft serve and a can of root beer.) I presume this is due to the Covid-19 crisis. Only real issue I had with the place is that there is only one window to order from, and with no clear directions posted people were lingering around the order window. (Not necessarily the fault of the business, but disappointing nonetheless.) We got there when the place was pretty busy, and with all the people standing around waiting for their orders, and the people ahead of them standing around and eating their treats, we ended up waiting in line for about 15 mins just to get up to the front and read the menu. Business flow could be improved. But the setting is convenient, and the items were nice...

We were staying in Shipshewana and it was definitely worth the short drive north of town to this place. They have both frozen custard and ice cream. There are many delicious items from which to choose. I chose a regular hot fudge sundae made with frozen vanilla custard. Oh, my. Take me back to the good old days. Yum! My daughter has the monster cookie tornado and it was very good, too. The lady who waited on us was so pleasant and nice.
