Where do I start? The restaurant is both casual and neat, making it safe to dress up or dress decent and casual. There’s soft Indian music that plays in the background that’s not too loud but just the right volume. The inside is very clean, very neat, unlike other restaurants around Middletown I’ve been to. Clean tables, floor, and bathroom which are all good signs. The art on the walls and the dark lighting setting make it great for families, dates, and warmful friends. It feels so cultured. The atmosphere feels like family. Some foods ordered are served out in pots and makes you feel like you get a homelike experience. The food was phenomenal. It was better than expected. Tender season chicken. Thick warm naan. The sauce was amazing. And every meal was filling. It will get you full fast! The food is absolutely worth the price. I was cautious of Indian food but was surprised to learn there are many different flavors and the menu is high variety. The dishes also come out fast. The staff are welcoming and generous. They often check up to make sure everything is to your liking. You can reserve table to eat with the family. They will also sing you happy birthday or host catering. Its not too crowded to enjoy a meal. It was indeed a learning experience. It’s also good to support local businesses and family owned restaurants such as this. I loved it and I will be coming back soon!

I don't know where to begin because this was NOT a good experience for us. We went there for dinner and ordered several items. We were served the complimentary papad (which was good), ordered mango lassi (good), salt lassi (okay) and chai (good). The gobhi manchurian was what spoiled the experience beyond repair. We are vegetarians and my daughter found a chicken piece in it. She lost her appetite and could not eat anything else. The server said a very half-hearted sorry and basically nothing else. We didn't make a fuss about it, but it soured the customer experience for us - I don't even know what they could have done to make it right. But my point is that they didn't even try - which shows how much they care. And this also shows that they don't really make the effort to keep things separate for vegetarians. We had the garlic naan (very thick, felt uncooked), kadai paneer (very so-so) and Momos (it was not very good, but okayish). WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO VEGETARIANS.

Really nice Indian place with pleasant interiors and exteriors. Food is fantastic and authentic Indian cuisine. Visited this place just once but is by far the best Indian restaurant I personally ever tried in US. We ordered vegetarian momos as starter and it was well cooked and fresh. As our main course we had malai kofta, mint parantha and haveli special parantha. Malai kofta is a rich indian dish which is a risky one to try at a new place. But this place nailed it as far as the taste, texture and spices are concerned! Paranthas were great in taste and fresh too. For dessert, we had Rasmalai which disappointed us after having set the bar quite high with rest of the food. It tasted exactly like frozen Rasmalai by Deep, that we get at Indian grocery stores. Overall it was a really good experience and would love visit again to try more of their main course options!

This place is absolutely amazing! We stopped in for the lunch buffet which starts at 11:30am. We were a bit early, as this was our first time going, so we decided to get a large Taj Mahal lager to split while we waited. The server came to our table with an ice cold bottle and served it with two frosted beer glasses. One bottle was the perfect amount for just two glasses, and he even poured it for us! After enjoying our crisp and tasty beverages, we were welcomed by the friendly staff to eat as much as we would like to from the Buffett. I really wish I had my phone with me to take pictures because we were the first people to eat and all the food was presented in astonishing fashion! I almost didn’t want to disturb the dishes from the picture perfect, artful garnishments that were placed around them, but nonetheless it was inevitable, so we decided to try a little bit of everything. It was all extremely fresh and seasoned just perfectly. There were many authentic dishes, made with top quality ingredients and served with freshly homemade naan that was brought directly to our table. We decided on two non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy with our meals, the mango lassi and a homemade iced tea that were both perfectly blended. The dessert was probably one of my favorites, we had authentic rice pudding and combined it with the gulab jamun (cheese balls) and it was decadent to say the least! This was an overall amazing experience and hands down the freshest and most delicious Indian food I have ever had in my life. I will absolutely be returning here for more excellent food, the chill atmosphere, and the friendly wait staff! Thank you for a wonderful establishment!

P.s. The value is incredible! Our bill was under $50…I left $20 for the tip and still felt like...

We heard good things about the place so decided to drive the 40min to try it out tonight for dinner. We were seated right away but server took a while to get our order. She didn’t bother to write down our order which ended up issues in our order. They brought one of our appetizers first- gobi Manchurian- was tasty and good spice level but did not bring our other appetizer until 20min later with our main courses. They did not bring one of our curries we order and had to repeatedly ask different servers about getting as the rest of our food was getting cold. We were frustrated at this point but our dish finally came and asked to replace the naan as it had gotten cold during the wait. I asked for a refill on my coke but never got it plus never refilled our waters or bother to come to our table to ask. The place had few customers while we were there but it wasn’t too busy that the servers couldn’t provide us decent service. We had to wait again for our to go boxes which we asked three different servers and finally the guy in the front came and gave it to us after walking up to the front and asking him directly. Nobody came to give us our check and at this point it was getting late so we walked up front ourselves and asked for the check. Other customers seating near us were also facing these issues- one customer waited a long time for their main course that when it did come they asked to pack their food as it was getting late and did not eat at the restaurant.

With the service being this way we really didn’t enjoy the food as much. Overall though food was decent but wouldn’t drive the 40min again...
