As someone who works in the industry, I don’t usually write reviews for restaurants. However, this has to be the worst “fine dining” experience I’ve ever had. Me and my finance had a 6:30 reservation on Valentine’s Day. Now before we even got in the restaurant, their parking lot is an absolute disaster. Cars are parked staggered and parked in the middle of the road which made navigating extremely difficult and dangerous. The line of reservations was out if the door so they clearly overbooked. We waited 20 minutes for our table to be cleared. At this point we have been seated and have been waiting about 20 minutes and we get our waiter. He asks what we’d like to drink and we inform him we have no drink menu. It takes him 15 minutes to get us one and another 30 minutes to come back and take our order. 10 minutes go by and we get our drinks. I had ordered an old fashioned which came with no orange twist or cherry, my fiance had ordered the “smoke on the water”. Her drink was terrible. We waited 20 minutes before i eventually waved our waiter down to hopefully place a food order and to take her drink back. We very politely told him she didn’t like and and that she’d like something else but that we would still pay for it. To which he replied “no no you drink I don’t want to waste it” and put it back down on the table. He then left to go get her other drink. I have NEVER had a waiter refuse to take back a drink, that to me was absolutely ridiculous. Another 20 minutes go by he comes back with her drink and I tell him to take the other one back again, and that we would like to order some food. We quickly takes our appetizer order and then takes both menus out of our hands and walks away so we are not able to order entrees. At this point we didn’t argue because we just wanted some food and then to leave. 1 hour goes by and we have yet to receive any food or other drinks. I try to wave some one down however 2 waiters and both managers are too busy taking photos and videos of the line of reservations out of the building. I have never seen a manager be proud of over booking on a holiday and instead of trying to help make sure the upset guest are happy THEY ARE TAKING PICTURES????? Unbelievable! After another 10 minutes go by I wave down another waiter to ask where our waiter is and if our apps will be ready soon. He goes to check and never came back. So we got up and left. We were there from 6:30-9:15ish and only was able to get 1 drink. We will never be going back and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go to a restaurant that would care about your time and your experience not just caring about how many people they can get...
Read moreHad a gift $100 gift certificate given to me that i had to use. Ordered 2 medium/well Angus cheese burgers with fries . Burger was overcooked and salty and dry. 4 steak fries were overcooked and hard. The fixings for the burger were wilted and a whisper of cheese only on the burger. I could not eat the fries and only ate half the burger. Not feeling well from this meal. Ordered some chicken wraps they were dry lacking in taste. They had the same 4 dried out steak fries. I also ordered mac and cheese and I received rigatoni instead of elbow macaroni and it had this orange very spicy sauce on it. Do not order mac and cheese for your kids as they will not be able to handle all the hot spicy sauce. I ordered chicken picata and the chicken was tough and they gave me 3 large broccoli steams and 4 slices of yellow squash. Did not look appetizing. Everything was tough and overcooked . To make matters worse they put the 6 meals 2 burgers, 2 chicken wraps and 1 mac and cheese and 1 chicken Picata meal in one large paper bag with handles. When I pulled the bag out of the car the bag handles broke and the bag broke on the bottom and I lost half of the so called mac and cheese and the veggies from the chicken picata meal. The whole take out experience was terrible. Parking was poor. It was noon time but not that busy . The only good thing was that I did not pay for the meal as it was a gift certificate. Do not go here. Its terrible For take out meals they should invest in some plastic bags. I should go back and complain but from the negative reviews here it appears that they would not care if I were to do so. DO NOT waste your money by going here. If you go bring some...
Read moreI have been waiting to have dinner at Red Fox for a very long time. In January, I went to brunch and ordered the crepes with berries. There were two large crepes but only about 1/4 cup of sliced strawberries - not enough for two crepes. there should have been blueberries and raspberries as well. there was no whipped cream - I asked for the whipped ricotta that was on the menu. Last evening, we tried dinner. They were super busy and you have to expect that things might not be as good when they're busy. The room was quite noisy. The Caesar salad was dry and when we asked for additional dressing, they brought two little cups with what was obviously a bottled dressing - not the house made dressing like the menu said. I really liked the rice pilaf and tenderloin/veggie skewers and the condiment that came with the bread. The Chicken Picatti had no flavor no seasoning. My take away was in both visits, it felt as though they were either skimping or just trying to be middle of the road with flavor leaving it somewhat tasteless. Wait staff tried to tell us the specials but could barely understand him. they should be written down. Each person that set something down on the table had one foot in the other direction before the plate hit the table. they didn't ask if we needed anything nor did they say "Enjoy" - nothing. They couldn't wait to get out of there! It was not cheap. I think they need to shake things up and make them better but if you have people coming back, both times I was there, it was busy, you don't notice or care as long as the money is coming in. They should be doing a taste test every so often to be sure everything...
