This place needs management and management skills. I used to like this place and the food was always excellent. Now, they hire very young people that apparently aren’t trained properly. My last visit I was text that they were having a sale on loaded potatoes with meat. The person in front of me ordered 5 and I ordered 2. Not hard to count that would be 7 potatoes they needed. The Lady in charge chopped all the beef and put them in piles for each potato. Told the kids to make them up and they acted as if they didn’t want or feel like working. They made the Potatoes for the lady in front of me wrong. And then discovered they only had 6 potatoes. Here we are now 25 minutes into this order. Only for the Lady to come out and tell me they ran out of potatoes. And while she did apologize that didn’t change the fact I waited in line for almost 30 minutes now. Didn’t offer anything in place of or anything. Place is getting run down! If the owners care they would go in and see how things operate. That is if they care about...
Read moreWe live in Midlothian and have frequented this place often, mainly because the location is convenient and there is a Sonic in the same location which makes it easy to feed kids. I have never been impressed, the meat is consistently fatty. My recent visit is absolutely our LAST visit. I purchased a family pack. My meat order was wrong, they were out of the tater tot casserole (by far the best item), the rolls were cold and smashed, and to top it off I got home without any BBQ sauce. I spent $58 and the food went essentially uneaten. I was so angry I called, and got the teen that took my order. He never even apologized. I requested a manager return my call, NO ONE EVER CALLED. Don't waste your money, go down the road to the former antique barn and get your BBQ there. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ... an embarrassment to Texas hospitality...
Read moreI didn't try the food because the person working clearly didn't want to serve me. I walked up to the counter and I greeted her. I used to work food service and I know how cold and impersonal the public often is towards food service workers, so I go out of my way to treat them with respect and friendliness. She didn't look up from what she was doing or respond for several seconds. Then she said that she would be with me in a moment. So I wait as she stirs the food on the serving line. After a bit, she goes into the back and is there for about a minute. Then, she comes back out and continues to do things that, to me, do not look urgent at all. I continue to stand there and finally I give up and start to walk away. Just as I am leaving, she finally says "how can I help you?". I just...
