Okay, I didn't actually eat anything. I based on price I put from specials posted. But after the crazy crashing through the woods walk I had for 8 flapping miles (I found a pretty moth and they had a luna moth just chilling by their fancy plants already!). I watched all the grueling, hardned atheletes serving the grandma's marathon patrons (after the evet, I did not attend) and they made everyone full and no ambulances even came as I waited for a ride, withered and defeated by nature and rain. Because I am tough, not, like actual marathon tough and I didn't actual need an ambulance, I just ate all my money gambling with nature and winning my endurance of spirit and avoiding actual emergencies! They even wiped up my shiver-dripping puddles and tried to make me have a meal, but I resisted and I assumed I was not permitted to use the clothing drier while naked or harass their guests (I didn't want to anyway, they were cool). The staff were super polite and helpful and I saw an interview happen so they're hiring new staff! The thing looks like it was carved out of a canyon and they have hand-crafted monlithic and noble creatures hewn (probably with chainsawz?) into life, in life sized form! Never a better warming house for avoiding hypothermia, tip your waitstaff! They need to keep the lights on.
I have to save up for winter sports gear, I'm sure they have activities nearby! I know the food was amazing I could smell it and everyone was happier when they left. Even me! I needed to not eat because my body was not processing anything politely at the time. I could tell it was going to be a cookie tossing thing and only kids get to do that without feeling kinda silly, which I totally completely...
Read moreWent out to dinner after our hike today. Needless to say, we won’t be going back and supporting them. There were no seating protocols in play here. I was really uncomfortable with every table being sat, even tho the one right behind us was marked as “no seating”, the staff allowed them to anyways. We watched a family of eight walk in with no masks on and sat right next to a group of about 10-12 people, like literally barely one chair away from the group and another group of about 15 people pretty close to them. I thought there were protocols restaurants had to follow??? They were definitely operating at 85% capacity......We took our meal to go and left. I will not support a business like this. Service was pretty bad too. I’ve been in the sever business for over 30 years, and I know enough to let my customers know if it’s going to be longer than usual for food to come out. Shawn ordered chili prior to his meal, and when a server finally came back we had to ask if it was coming out soon. She also saw his ice tea was empty and asked if he wanted another, which after 15 minutes still never came. As a server, communicate with your customers, it’s the right thing to do. They appreciate when you...
Read moreFirst time at buffalo house will be my last time at buffalo house. We went for father's day at noon. They were half full. I ordered two appetizers for our table of 8, they brought out the appetizers and then immediately went back to collect our meals. If they had atleast told us it was all coming out at once I could have had them removed the apps and just ate our meals but instead I feel like I was tricked into paying for two apps that arrived within a minute of our entrees. Two of us had a soup and a salad, those also came out with the meals too. The food on top of it all was extremely disappointing. My husband's cheese curd burger was 5 minutes past over done. I couldn't tell you what my pasta tasted like because I figured it would be easier to reheat than soup or mozzarella sticks.
I didn't make a big deal because I didn't want to sour everyone's father's day, but rest assured we will not be returning to...
