Around 1pm on 10/13/24 (Sunday) after church, We went into the Waffle House in Midway Florida... There were at least 8 people behind the counter. We were spoken to as we went in "Sit anywhere you want" We sat in a booth, and noticed only one other table occupied by a family of four, finishing up and preparing to leave. 2 of the wait staff came over to the edge of the counter together and began counting their tips, while a third walked past us and went to the restroom. When she returned she went back behind the counter, walked up to the counter close to us, and began chit chatting with the two that were counting tips, all the while NEVER ACKNOWLEDGING US AT ALL. By this time we had been in the booth for 12 MINUTES while being completely ignored. Mind you, We are now the ONLY CUSTOMERS in the RESTAURANT.... No drinks, no menus, no acknowledgement at all, so we just collectively decided to leave. AS WE ARE WALKING OUT, the GRILL OPERATOR ASKS, "HEY!!" "DID ANYONE ACKOWLEDGE THE CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE??" One waitress answered " Well where were they sittin??" We didn't hear the rest as we were already outside by then... I don't understand how this can happen in an empty restaurant, but it does EXPLAIN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT... I surely hope this reaches someone in a position to fix the problem... We proceeded to the Waffle House in west Tallahassee off Capital Circle, (Which was absolutely packed) and received prompt and EXCELLANT SERVICE! We enjoyed our meal (as we always do) and paid and left... I will not say that it's a problem with all Waffle Houses, but the one in midway needs some adjustment... Thank...

These two were like a well-oiled machine, moving in perfect harmony with spatulas flying and hash browns flipping in synchronized splendor. It was pure culinary choreography, and we were captivated! Stephanie, our server, was nothing short of spectacular. She treated us like VIPs, ensuring our coffee cups never saw the bottom and our orders were taken with a smile that could rival the sun. Despite the hustle and bustle, she managed to keep everything in check, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. When it was time to cash out, Amelia provided us with prompt and courteous service, wrapping up our visit with the same level of care and professionalism that marked our entire meal. The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of Southern charm. And the cleanliness? Impeccable! Even with the restaurant buzzing with activity, the place was spotless. Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly, hot and delicious. In short, Waffle House delivered not just a meal but a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food, excellent service, and a side of entertainment with...
Read moreNot good today. The server did not write down my order. So when she brought it back, my grits was not in a bowl, and when I asked her to fix it , she scraped the grits in the trash and brought me my plate back. There was grits all over my bacon and my toast. She didn't want to fix it. Another server seen me in tears and came to see what was wrong. I told her. She brought me more toast and also gave me more coffee. My server didn't want to it. So when it came down to the tip. I gave my server part and I gave the other server part. It would be different if I hadn't told my server to put my grits in a bowl, on the side, and that I didn't like my food to touch. I order it the same way every time I go in. I don't know what her problem was , but I wasn't the only one who...
