On Tuesday evening at about 8 pm, I stopped here for gas and to buy one item from inside the store. There was a man who came out of the store, followed by an employee. His car was at the pump next to me, so I clearly heard every single nasty word that he was screaming at her because the gas pump pay function was malfunctioning. The cashier was VERY kindly trying to explain the situation, but he was having no part of it. He was just determined to be mad and extremely abusive. I put in my own credit card, and the pump stopped at $10. I put my card in a second time, and it worked as normal, filling my tank. There was clearly a software glitch somewhere, and employees have absolutely zero control over those kinds of events.
After I finished pumping my gas, I went inside to pay for my other purchase. The cashier, Tracy, was still in tears, just trying to get through her shift. It sounded like that man was not the only customer who had screamed, cussed, and berated her over the problem with the pump. She was really scared that she would lose her job over customer complaints to corporate. I left her my name and number to provide her manager or district manager, and I told her I would be more than happy to tell them that, at no point, during this man's full-on verbal abuse did she make any effort to match energy with him, she only tried to calmly explain that, as a cashier, she was doing the best that she could for customers and had no control over the software problem.
Unfortunately, I think most all of us have all subjected to the appallingly abusive behavior of Karens and Kens "in the wild" at some point. It is atrocious that people heap such abhorrent abuse onto customer service employees who are just trying to do their jobs to support their families. As bad as that is, it seems almost worse to me that employees, who are VICTIMS of such assaults, then have to worry about losing their jobs on top of stress of dealing with such people. If anything, that customer should be trespassed from every Casey's!
I really hope to keep seeing Tracy. We live nearby and are frequent customers here. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and all of the...
Read morePumped gas Friday afternoon at this location when I got my credit card receipt it showed $8 plus change more than the pump showed. I did the math with the numbers on the receipt and sure enough it overcharged me $8. I took my receipt inside and told the cashier what had happened and her response was there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak with someone else and she became very rude and told me there was no one there and the gas pumps were not their responsibility and I asked he name Mrs Helen. I asked how the pumps were not their responsibility and then she became confrontational and started telling me I needed to leave. Well I'm not one to get mad but she literally had me cussing, she refused to help in any way ,would not give .me a phone number to call or e en look at the receipt just kept saying the pumps were not her responsibility wouldn't even go look at the proof and put the pump out of order until it could be checked out just started telling me I needed to leave. I've contacted my CC company with a copy of the receipt and they are refunding my account. So if you're getting fuel at Casey's check your receipts or better yet just go to OnCue. I'll never step foot in another one. From reading the rest of the reviews Mrs Helen is losing yall quite a few customers. I was a regular but...
Read moreGood location area for where it's at, but not great being convenient store to go to. Less than a year, this location has had issues with keeping workers, times only one worker and lines stretched to more than one isle. Closes due to plumbing problems consistently, greeted with card only tends to be problematic, days where it's cash only, worst part of it when it's cash only certain employees like to hold back and not give you all your change pennies mainly, to many times where I've had to ask for the rest of my change. I can understand running out of items here and there, but walking in and seeing bare shelves on a consistent basis is poor ordering management. The kitchen is closed consistently being there is no one to work the kitchen that day or days, Store randomly closed on a weekdays due to no employees are available to run the store. And the really embarrassing part is to this location is being 3 feet into the store with not a welcoming greeting but a "Would you like a job! We need workers that can keep a job!" As busy as this location is every time I either pass by or stop for high chance of inconvenience. I'm surprised Ops or Loc management is turning a blind eye to this black eye of the company. I don't see this location lasting much longer before being...
