Miller's Hoagies — Restaurant in Milesburg

In 20 years I have NEVER had a issue with Millers. Until today that is. We did a call in order for 3 cheese steaks and 2 were messed up. They were bone dry and had ZERO grill seasoning or anything, the bread was more moist than the meat. It wasn't even made to order it was missing 2 toppings. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT PURE DISAPPOINTMENT TASTES LIKE. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THEM EVER AGAIN. Tried to speak to the worker and they took NO responsibility at all and blamed us making excuses. I don't care if you're busy, if being busy means sacrificing quality then they should not be in business or hire people with integrity who actually care about their work. If you don't believe me then look at the picture and you decide if you would eat that train wreck. Both went to the trash and we are out our dinner and our money. If I could give zero I would. I have been a loyal customer there for 20+ years and this is an embarrassment to what their quality used to be. Also I have never complained or ever had to call back for anything, thank you staff working on 6/5/23 for ruining our evening and making me out to be a "Karen". (UPDATE) Spoke with the owner and still blamed us. She said "If it was read back to you and you agreed that it was correct it's not their fault wasn't their fault it is yours for agreeing." So let's make this clear so all customers understand the business policy. If you think they're repeating it back correctly and they understand the order, there must be no way to make it incorrectly and it will be your fault they made it that way. I don't know what the big deal is about these hoagies. Locals love it. Apparently they have never had a good hoagie before. We ordered 5 and none of them had any flavor. The roll was plain but soft. The meat and cheese were flavorless. Thank goodness when I got home I had peppers to put on them for flavor. They only got 1 star because the one lady was super nice that helped me. The other was hyper frustrated because we were deciding what we wanted. Other customers came in. So she stopped helping us to help them. Thats fine. But when she didn't put on double meat she said it was because I never asked for it. In return the other lady correcyed her and said I did. Apparently she can only handle locals that know what they already want. Plus the parking is super confusing. I pulled into the wrong driveway then their parking lot faces housing and theres no pathway from there to the store front. Wierd. We wont be...

I had really hoped to love it based on the reviews but I can't say I did. As some have mentioned, the customer service wasn't great. But I can forgive that with good food. Unfortunately, they didn't live up to the reviews. We tried to communicate a few times our order but they're didn't get it right. A Philly cheese steak, a tuna sub and two cokes. Not a crazy order. My sub was the basic tuna sub, but they added cheese (I can't eat cheese) and the bun was stale. My husband's sub was really not good and he was sketched to eat it because the meat tasted off. We were given one diet coke and one regular.

We drove over to the next town with our to go order to eat in the park (about 4 minutes down the road) and passed other sub shops. Seeing that and knowing this isn't the only game in town I'd recommend skipping this one and trying...
