Amy's Creative Cakes — Restaurant in Milford

We hired Amy to bake our 5/25/2024 wedding cake at Hotel B and it was perfect! She was absolutely the best to work with; she listened to all our concerns and made the process super easy. We had a 2 layer cake: top tier was peanut butter pound cake with chocolate filling and bottom tier was peanut butter pound cake with cannoli filling. Let me tell you....DELICIOUS. Then we did vanilla with chocolate chips cupcakes and red velvet cupcakes as our cake was smaller and wanted to keep the top tier for ourselves to have on our 1 year anniversary. We brought boxes so people could take them home too. Everyone loved this, and LOVED the flavors. So many people wanted to know who baked it. Our cake had our flowers on too; Amy + our florist made this process easy as they frequently work together. Amy called the week of the wedding to make sure we had no further questions/concerns; and once again made this part of the process easy. I met Amy at a Wedding Fair at the Hotel Bethlehem right after booking our venue. My husband and I knew we wanted a smaller cake with a lot of bite-size treats, so I was sold when I sampled her white-chocolate covered raspberry champagne cake bites. OMG!

Amy was a pleasure to work with and was super helpful in suggesting portions/counts for the desserts based on our guest count, as well as bringing our vision to life with these gorgeous log stands for the display. She also was willing to make some out-of-the-box desserts like a s'mores bar and chocolate-dipped homemade marshmallows, which went with our firepit and rustic theme.

Amy was awesome! Myself, the groom and my mother-in-law went to her house for the initial cake tasting so we could decide on what we wanted. Amy was super friendly, pleasant and accommodating. We ended up with a 3 tier cake and 2 sheet cakes as our wedding was for 200+ people and we wanted a couple of options for our guests. Amy was SO easy to work with during the entire process and her prices are SO reasonable. My cake was GORGEOUS!!!! We did a simple white frosted cake with a spatula stripe horizontal line texture on each tier and fresh flowers on it. The cake went PERFECTLY with our outdoor/rustic/barn/tent themed wedding.
