I have never had malasadas before and I am so glad that my first time experience was through Good Belly as the malasadas here are absolutely delicious. It almost feels like you're eating a cloud with how fluffy and light the dough is! I was worried it was be overly sweet but the amount of sugar and filling isn't excessive. So far, we have had their plain, POG, chocolate, and ube mochi-sadas. Our personal favorite has to be the ube mochi-sadas as it is just an explosion of ube flavor while being super light.

The staff as well as the owner is great about communication. I have called, texted, and spoke in person with them and always had a pleasant and professional response. They clearly care for their customers and ensure that you leave happy. It also seems like they are quite popular and well-loved by people from not only Auburn but all over in Washington, as there was a line forming more than 30 minutes before opening, so plan ahead especially for limited edition items that they share on Facebook or Instagram.

The truck has clear and concise menu on their truck, which is great as sometimes other trucks have multiple plastered everywhere when there might be one main menu at the ordering station. We arrived early and saw how they came out to clean the ordering station and they also provide napkins as you will definitely need them. Prices are...

TL;DR: can't get any better than warm and fresh! This truck is just so elusive! Generous dough to filling ratios.

Location: rotating locations -- follow the social media account for schedules. There is a second truck in the works but it isn't running quite yet! Generally Kent, Kirkland, Bothell, Everett areas so far and some small food festivals.

Menu: rotating flavors -- follow the social media account for updates! I have yet to try that elusive creme brulee flavor!

Mochi Ube: Limited edition malasada. Not filled but I enjoyed the light and chewy texture of this one. It is very lightly sweetened which is perfect but I do wish there was more of an ube flavor punch. If you ever see "mochi" available, get one to try it out!

You can't go wrong with any of the filling flavors really. They all have a lovely custard texture and lightly sweetened flavor. I do have to say the lilikoi was my favorite but I do wish it was slightly more tangy. The chocolate is really good too. Maybe in the future some fresh fruit bits can be included in the...

Food: the malasadas are absolutely delicious. Reminds me of home, growing up on Leonard’s. (Someone must have the recipe cause I swear it’s identical) I really enjoy that they have rotating flavors and even if the wait is long. We don’t mind it, it just means it’s good and worth waiting for! Good things take time to make, and it’s worth every minute!

Service: the service is always great. All the people that I’ve encountered are very genuine and give service with a smile and they apologized for the long wait today. (If I didn’t want to wait, I wouldn’t have ordered) they’re a little short staffed, but it didn’t shy away from the quality of service they gave or the taste of the malasadas.

Overall: 5 star review because we should make a better habit about posting good reviews when the food and service is great. Hard work, dedication, and good food shouldn’t be overlooked. Keep it up Goodbelly, and thanks for coming down...

I got the 3 pack malasadas: ube, mango, and Bavarian cream. I was so excited to try these since I've heard such rave reviews. But I have to agree with another reviewer that the flavors are really artificial. The mango was pretty awful -- I couldn't tell it was mango. And the ube and Bavarian cream also missed the mark. The dough was very good and fluffy and light, but the fillings....If you don't mind flavors that don't quite taste like what they should be, then the filled ones are fine. I think I'd just opt for the plain malasada next time.

We've seen a few videos about this dessert truck. We are happy we finally got to visit them. Apparently, the owners recently came back from visiting Thailand. When we got here, there was already a line. It was definitely worth the wait. The staff was nice, and the vibe was nice as well. We got a half dozen order. 3 use filled and 3 Bavarian filled. Omg...lol it's problem. Safe to say, we'll definitely have to get more in the near future :)

Thanks to their FB page I always know where to find the truck, what they're serving for the day, and how long they'll be there. They have a social media presence that's better than most food trucks I've seen so it's super helpful when I'm craving their malasadas! I love seeing them at community events and always go home with a full box of treats and some cans of Hawaiian Sun. Mahalo nui loa fo servin' da best malasadas west of Leonards 😉🤙
