First let me say it was hard for me to leave a bad review for DQ because I have so many fond memories of treats after my little league games. However, now that I am older, I guess things just are not the same. Anyone who’s been married for a long time knows that dates with your partner may not happen a often as we would like. My partner and I try to do something together at least twice a week. I chose DQ for a quick together so we could eat, have a treat, and enjoy each other. The DQ on Wayne let me down. Our food was almost uneatable. The “burgers” were way over cooked to the point they were crusty around the edges and dry enough to soak up condiments like paint on an old house. The fries were a joke. It was like they had cooked a bunch for previous customers that did not sell and they dropped back in the grease to try and revive them for sale. These should have been thrown out and fresh made. Now for my treat debacle. I ordered a cherry and banana blizzard. Well this DQ quit carrying the cherry sundae topping and decided they would jut put two or three maraschino cherries on top of vanilla ice cream with some banana mixed in. Second try I just asked for a butterscotch milkshake. Easy enough you would think. So I get a cup of vanilla milkshake with chunks of butterscotch magic shell in it. Why, they don’t carry the butterscotch sundae syrup any longer either. Only the dip cone topping. So now that they have wasted two treats for failure to communicate with the customer and left me feeling like whatever that they do still have won’t be a treat at this point. So I settled for a butterfinger Blizzard which was short on mixing and candy because it was my fault they wasted the previous items. So please come on down to DQ but not for a treat, but to help me with the supply order and whatever else the managers do but put fault on me for. If you make a change to your menu or the way something is made after 65 years you should probably communicate that with the customer during ordering. Needless to say I will not be back to this location unless I’m there by someone...
Read moreExtremely slow drive through. We sat in line at least 30 minutes just to get to the speaker to give our order. The vehicles were just not moving. We ordered a med. Dipped cone and a med. Blizzard after another 20 minutes of waiting we got to the window and though the blizzard came right out the dipped cone did not. After around 10 minutes of waiting the girl at the window asked us to go park. I asked them what the problem was and a reference to the machine not working was made. Not wanting to wait any longer I told them I would take anything of equal value. Just as I settled on a blizzard they told me the machine was working so I got my dipped cone. The chocolate was soft as well as the ice cream and it was a race to inhale it before it dripped all over my clothes. I will not be back to this...
Read moreTerrible. Did a curbside order and first they brought out the wrong order so i had to get them to return that. Waited 20 minutes for them to come tell me i did a door dash when i did a online curbside so i showed her my phone with the receipt. Finally the manager come out with half my order saying somebody came inside and picked my order up. Why would they give my order to someone inside when i chose curbside? As i was telling her i didn't get my blizzard she just rudely walked back inside. Its obvious they got the orders mixed up since they first came to me with the wrong order. Will...
