JJ’s Diner — Restaurant in Millersville

I had the most wonderful home cooked meal in a very long time first time coming here but first time back to my hometown in 15 yrs. The food was amazing Sweet tea was even better. They don't make food or tea like that in Florida. It's made with lots of love, southern hospitality and true family values. What nobody knows about down to south too much. Really hate I cannot take the staff. The owner and the restaurant back to florida with me to show them off. Thank you, cousins, for suggesting JJ's diner. For a wonderful breakfast before I hit the road again. Hopefully, I could find something close to it in ohio. I recommend this restaurant for anybody who goes through this area!!! Price of the food was wonderful. For amazing food and environment price doesn't matter. There's not enough money to find the hospitality...

The chocolate cake and ice cream was delicious. Cinnamon roll was dry and not a lot of cinnamon mixture inside. Ordered fries with catfish and received hash fries. The catfish was okay. The coleslaw has dill in it and takes away the flavor. Tried the spaghetti/ lasagna casserole dish, but it tastes like hamburger helper that isn't seasoned. Not sure what the side salad was because I wouldn't order a salad full of iceberg lettuce. Atmosphere is no different than the Mexican restaurant or diner before. Staff and servers were nice. I would have tried the breakfast, however there are no pork alternatives as meat. I will try again in the future, but only for the chocolate cake...

I cannot believe I didn't know about this 'slice of traditional America' . The food here is some of the best diner food I have had in years. I highly recommend the patty melt as it is made the right way with grilled onions, rye bread and toasted to perfection. My mouth is watering as I write this. If you are into diner food at very reasonable prices, friendly old school service and unbelievable food (no skimpy portion sizes here) then you have to give this place a visit.
