Breakfast with a View! This morning, I touched down in Millville’s best-kept secret, Verna’s Flight Line Restaurant, for hearty breakfasts and small-town charm, tucked right inside the Millville Executive Airport!✈️ The food? Delicious. The vibe? Friendly and welcoming. And the bonus? You might catch a military Osprey flying by while you sip your coffee. How’s that for breakfast and a show?🍳 If you haven’t checked it out yet, make it your next breakfast destination. Trust me, Verna’s is the kind of local gem that makes Millville special. Have you been to Verna’s? Drop your favorite menu item below!⬇️ #TomsLocalFinds #SupportLocal #MillvilleEats #VernaFlightLineRestaurant #BreakfastWithAView #HiddenGems #SouthJerseyEats

Good spot for breakfast at Millville Executive Airport. I had the veggie omelette. It came with toast and home fries (small cubed potatoes). I generally prefer hash browns, but these were good. I bet they would go well with peppers & onions. I'll ask next time. I ordered bacon as a side, which was cooked just right (neither too limp nor too crisp). The coffee is served in a generous mug, which was refilled promptly. As you might guess, this is a home cookin' kind of place. Expect comfort food (as you will see on the lunch & dinner menu). I love watching planes take off and land at airport diners. But, even though it was a warm spring morning, the outside seating wasn't open. And, inside, the binds were mostly closed. So, it's not necessarily a special experience compared to an ordinary diner. You sit inside in the air conditioning, and you're not looking at planes out the window. Thus, I sat at the counter. If you sit at a table it might be worth asking if you can open the blinds to see out.

We were looking for somewhere to have a late lunch in the Millville area. Everyone that's been to Vernas rated it 5 stars for its tasty food and hospitality. We have to agree! Great fresh, homemade food, very pleasant and accommodating wait staff, quick service, and a fun walk down memory lane to World War II guard house. War posters, photos, stories and memorabilia. Treat yourself!

I really enjoyed my experience there. The food was cheap and good. But apparently cheap comes with cheap service... I went to pay for my food and was told that I couldn't pay half in cash and half on my card because it "charges them". I didn't have enough money to pay the meal just in cash or just in my card, so she had to do half and half and I got an attitude for it and she wiped out my bank account and took the money out of my hand to cover it all. I WANTED THE OPPOSITE. I HAVE NOTHING IN MY ACCOUNT CUZ SHE WOULDNT TAKE MY CASH, SO ONLY A COUPLE DOLLARS WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. NOW I HAVE...

Naturally any restaurant on an airfield will get a 5 star from me, but Vernas also has good food and good service. Millville is my hometown, so when I want to visit friends and family, I fly the hour from DC area to meet at Vernas. The airport itself is large, with a museum and other odds and ends- It’s worth the visit alone. Airplane parking and tie downs available just across the ramp and chocks are usually available. The restaurant is a tad small and tho they are usually busy, the wait hasn’t ever been long. I haven’t visited in a bit, but once Covid let’s up, I’ll be sure to be back! Wishing you all the...
