First time here. Last time here. But you can't knock it until you try it! First off, there was an ordor..not sure if it was the male behind the bar or another patron. Probably was the spot as a whole. If I wasn't with my husband, this is not somewhere I'd stay and hang out in. Chicken was decent fries were soggy egg rolls were bland and they stingy with the drinks. If this ain't bad enough before heading out, my husband went to wash his hands.. he came back and informed the female bar tender that the bathroom was full of fruit flies. She laughed and said, "It prolly is," and instructed some guy sitting at the bar to tell his father. Let's be real people. These folks are well aware of this already. Family style business serving up unique delicious recipes. Ordered the shrimp and grits and Philly cheesecake egg rolls. Came out lightning fast, and worth every penny paid.

This is not a place to go when you're feeling like eating someplace fancy. The building has a history to it that shows in the classic homey bar way. This IS a place to go when you just want to sit at a bar enjoying fantastic soul food spins and get away from the typical bar food fare.

Whew! Babaaay! This was our first time here and a memorable one. They have made the best first impression on us. My fiancé and I got the catfish dinner that comes with tartar sauce, fries, and hush puppies and the jerk chicken egg rolls. It was flavorful, fresh, well-seasoned and hot! We have no complaints but we will definitely be back. Our bellies are dancing in joy. The coin you spend is worth the love they put...
