$1.00 raw bar Oysters are the best! So clean and grit free. My favorite place for a filet mignon, their lump crab is delicious. Their whipped mashed potatoes are easily the best I've ever had. Their mini cheesecakes are unreal! Their scallops over spinach, I added the side of mash on a cheat day - and I was blown away! Their grilled octopus is amazing, their cauliflower au gratin is amazing - and an excellent choice with a Filet mignon and asparagus for a Keto meal! Their Figgy Piggy is amazing - literally everything I have ever had here I've been amazed about. Despite everything being that good - their lobster rolls come 2 in an order, and they were the best I've ever had - EVER! Been to Mass, Connecticut, Maine, all over the coast - nobody makes them better. So buttery, the bread is a toasted soft buttery roll and the meat is tail, and claw - so sweet, buttery and tender - and piled high! I hit up every seafood place around - best hands down. No idea how they're not more busy. My new regular!

Way to ruin Thanksgiving dinner for so many families, Cinders. We showed up at 3:50 for a 4pm reservation for 7 and it was a madhouse! People crammed into the vestibule and a long line out the door. After waiting 15 crammed-in minutes, no one still had the decency to show up at the check-in desk to address the crowd. Finally, someone came to the desk to say (1) could we clear out the area (ha! There were about 30 people crammed together at the desk), and (2) they hadn’t even seated the 3:30 reservations yet…and there wasn’t a single empty table in the house. A nightmare and such poor planning from what appears to be an established restaurant that should know better. We all came home and ordered pizza. Stay away from this place, especially if you don’t want your holiday ruined.

Their website indicates they open at 9am. They actually open later. We arrived just before 4 pm on a Wednesday, and there was plenty of seating. They have a greeter inside who is very friendly and seated us. Our server was wonderful. She knew the menu and was very friendly. To me, the greeter and/or server are the first line of customer service. They represent the company. Today, they were 5 star. My apetizer, salad and and meal were very tasty. We liked their house dressing so much that we purchased a bottle. I enjoyed the very tender BBQ ribs and potatoes meal. There is no need to cut this delicious rib meat with a knife or pick it up to eat with your hands. The BBQ sauce was just right and not too much. We're definitely going back to try other things.

I am honestly shocked the reviews here are mainly 5 stars. I am an event planner and professionally this is the WORST place to have an event. First off you are only allowed an hour to get in to decorate or customize to your liking. Generally as an event planner, I can get in earlier as venues and I have professional curtosey. Nope, not here I had to plead for 1.5 hours. We could make that work. I arrive and bring my stuff down to the bottom venue area. I see tables set up on the side and I asked if they necessary for service. Immediately I get attitude from the wait staff but they did move them and my rentals came at that time so it was perfect. Backdrop Rental is good so I start doing centerpieces which are various trees and woodland items as it was a woodland themed birthday. The waitress says to stop because she was not done setting the table. I told her that is perfectly fine. We can quickly setup and she can come in behind us. I come from a place where team work makes the dream work. I can't do my job without the venue. We need to work together. Mind you, I was polite with my request, keeping the setup light. 2 minutes later the owner, a very large man, comes storming at me yelling at me and I mean YELLING at me about how I can't tell his staff what to do and I was honestly flabbergasted. I gasped from shock and he mocked my gasp. At no point did he tell me what I did wrong and what I had asked his staff to do that was wrong. At the end of his rant he simply walked away. It was honestly shocking and completely inappropriate. It sucked the air completely out of the room as we all had to keep working to set up the event because the client was coming. I get that this restaurant doesn't get a lot of event planners and if you are not used to props and balloons it can be a change. But again we need to work together and have a line of communication to get the job done. The staff here does not want to do ANYTHING out of their comfort zone and if they do it is with attitude and a scream session in your face. I obviously won't do another event at this venue and probably won't be allowed to after this review. But I wanted tell people that if you wanted to have an event with prop rentals and some higher end details, look somewhere else. If you just want food and drinks this simple place may be your spot. Just wanted to give...

Seriously the biggest disappointment.

I was looking for delicious food. I wanted something personally made, not packaged chain restaurant food. We googled and found this place. We walked in, the setting was nice with clean linens and we were sat at a private table in the corner.

Upon looking at the menu 3 of the dishes I had chosen this place for that were on the online menu were not actually available. “Oooo yeah... out online menu hasn’t been updated.”

This meant the prices were also different.Today, I didn’t care about the price. I had just been released from a week in the hospital and just wanted a relaxing and wonderful dinner.

After changing my desires to meet their availability.we ordered several tapas. The surf and turf kabobs were so heavily doused in lime it ruined the flavor of everything. The lamb lollipops were tender but the char was so heavy I couldn’t get past the burnt flavor. The frito mistro was ok... this was an item that was removed from the menu... and we now know why.

The pizza was ok....and my friend enjoyed it... but it wasn’t for me.

My entree was the penne vodka with sausage and blackened chicken&shrimp. Voodoo pasta. I did ask that they not use the seasoning for the “blacken” aspect. Never in my life have I sent back food and asked for a refund. Today I did. The pasta, the sauce, the shrimp... all tasted burnt. Like they burned the pan and never washed it. It permeated everything. When I asked the server for a refund she was snarky and said she would have to ask. They did remove it from my bill and I munched on a piece of pizza before leaving.

$70 later... I left feeling sick and having taken 2 bites of beef, one small shrimp and a few bites of pizza. If you are looking for good flavor... go any where else. If you like snarky service and the flavor of burnt everything... this...

I don't know what happened to this place, but it's certainly gone downhill. A friend from out of town joined me for dinner on Friday evening. We each ordered the $1 oysters appetizer, which, I guess, "you get what you pay for" as they were very small and briney. Then, as our entree, we ordered the "Prime Rib Special." I put this in quotes because there was nothing special about their Prime Rib Special. My friend requested an end piece, which was all well and good, except that it was as if, with each bite, you took a heaping spoonful of salt with it! Mine was a center cut slice, but half of it was simply nerve and fat - what appeared to be a sizeable 10 oz. slice, really only yielded about 6 oz of actual edible meat - which, of course, was salty as all get out, too. The waiter was a dimwit as well, kept giving us the wrong drinks, disappeared during the meal, suggested espresso martini as an after dinner cocktail and when my friend expressed that she liked neither coffee nor martinis, he suggests a different martini. She again said, "No, I don't care for martinis." What's he do? You guessed it! My friend then specifically requested Earl Grey tea. He brought to the table a Lipton tea bag and placed the cup of hot water in front of me instead of my friend who ordered it. Overall dissatisfied. I don't know if I'll be back any time soon to give it another chance, which is really disappointing since this used to be a "go-to" place to bring family and out of town guests for a nice dinner. I even held my 50th birthday party here in their downstairs Wine Cellar room about 8 years ago (which was supurb at the time). A real shame the service and food has now...
