If I could rate 0 stars I would. The WORST Chinese food ordering experience iâve ever had. I ordered/paid for delivery online and even tipped. Upon delivery, I was informed that they didnât have my payment. This made no sense because how could I have ordered online without entering my payment info?
I informed ballydar that if they truly didnât already charge me, iâd be happy to give my payment info again. So I did (meanwhile the food was sitting outside in the cold as this went on).
AFTER PAYING AGAIN, the woman working proceeded to tell me that ânext time I need to pay for my deliveryâ completely ignoring the fact that I DID PAY in the first place and the error was on THEIR END. And then I paid anyway and she has the audacity that I need to pay for my delivery. I damn near lost it and told her their wonât ever be a next time.
As if the experience couldnât get any worse, the chicken was somehow undercooked. I would have been willing to overlook this if not for the disrespectful staff and the hassle of going through all this.

I have a half dozen places that are closer to me but Bally Dar is my standard since discovering it. All the classics are textbook perfect. They are happy to make my General's Chicken with just a little sauce or to omit shrimp and add beef to house special noodle dishes. By the way, I've never seen Udon noodles at a Chinese take out joint. My new fave is House special Udon, 86 the shrimp and add beef. Service is great, they are super fast so I usually just order while I'm driving there or even in the parking lot. Speaking of the parking lot, I like to park on the side of the building and then drive around to get out, otherwise it is a very tight lot full of hangry NJ drivers...

I work with the public as well and I would be fired on the spot if my manager ever heard me talking to customers like I get spoken to EVERY single time I call in a delivery. I didnât call anywhere near closing, I didnât speak with any tone didnât have an attitude. And Iâve heard all different voices on the phone and the tone is always terrible. Theyâre very short and irritated all the time. Letâs talk! Are yâall okay?
