I placed a simple order of a large extra cheese pizza at 4:54 pm today. I was told it would be ready for pick up in twenty to twenty-five minutes. I arrived within twenty-five minutes. The gentleman next in line was told they messed his order up and they could not remake it for him. That instead they would just place the topping on the already cooked pizza and offered an additional pizza to make up for it. That extra pizza was mine that I had ordered. When I was asked for the name and paid for my pizza I was then told the order was never placed. Although Ruby knew what size and pizza I ordered when I arrived without telling her nothing but my name. She then told me it would be a wait. I asked her for a refund and her response was it will only be three minutes wait. I agreed that was fine. After five minutes of waiting I could hear her telling them that my pizza had to be made and put in the oven. I then hollered her name and said I refused to wait any longer and wanted a refund. She replied it will only be a few minutes. I advised I wanted a refund. Ruby then canceled my order and I left under the impression my credit card payment would be canceled. I went to my car to write the review at 6:06 pm when I was interrupted by a man. His name was never given. He asked if I had ordered the large extra cheese pizza. I replied yes but I canceled it. He replied with I am sorry for the mix-up. I will put your pizza in the oven now, not charge you but it will be ten minutes. I instructed him NO. I was a long time customer and will NOT be ordering from them ever again. That all I wanted was for them to tell me the truth on the time. I was tired of being lied to when I had ordered this pizza at 4:54. That he should just admit fault that they gave my pizza away to the gentleman in front of me but proceeded to keep lying. Needless to say by this point I had lost my temper and sounded like a sailor. I chose to stop writing the review and order from Fox's Den and drive home to cool down. I am still furious and its 7 pm. I try to never order there based on past experiences but hoped after talking to the owner, who acknowledged his concerns over a year ago and they mirrored mine, I did so again! Either the order is wrong or the person taking the order is high, the driver is high or drunk and endless excuses. It’s a complete cluster, surprisingly they are still in business. Placed my order with Collin. The bill was $48. I told Collin that I was paying with cash and to make sure the driver had change for $100 bill. The driver arrived, nice kid, no change and there’s no way I’m leaving a $52 tip. Called the store and asked for Collin, obviously he’s not available. Talked to Joe, the manager. He was decent and confirmed the driver wasn’t aware and Collin didn’t do his job. Joe couldn’t send anyone out to meet the driver so he’s now on the way back to his store to return with change. Something is seriously wrong with this new generation. I get it, I’m a number an order that you don’t care about, and a business and business owner you don’t care about who is stuck with less than competent personnel but the kid you sent out said this was his 3rd time having to go back to the store for issues he has no control over. He’s not paid for driving in circles, no gas money and his tips reflect people like Collin who take the order and don’t care. On multiple occasions have we been told a certain time for our food but have to wait an additional 15-20 minutes. If we order delivery, it will say 50 minutes but still will take over an hour. On one occasions, we ordered a sandwich and salad and when we got there to pick it up the food wasn’t even made yet? Multiple times have I sat inside for a pickup order and had to wait until someone acknowledged me. Today, we ordered two sandwiches to pick up. I was told it would take 15 minutes, so we took a little longer to get there knowing how they run their business. When we went inside, there were no employees at the register and you could hear them just having a conversation in the back. After saying hello a couple of times someone finally came out. Mind you there was another man waiting for his food as well for who knows how long. I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances because the food is pretty good, but I can’t tell you the last time I had a good experience with the employees.
