Sanjha Indian Cuisine is a food gem located in Santo, TX! They have a wonderful menu, their food is absolutely exquisite and their flavors are bold, thoughtful- definitely delicious. I love going in and eating one of everything, just kidding, their VEGGIE KORMA and their breads, all their curries, saag paneer, their desserts and goodness gracious the best mango lassi I have ever had! Lovey, a waitress there, is so bubbly and smiley. She takes excellent care of you while you're dining. She makes me feel like I am at home when she is our server. The restaurant itself is a beautiful, spacious, lofty, high ceiling and lots of big beautiful, chunky tables, a spot suitable for any occasion. Their restaurant would be ideal for a big party as they have vast space for accommodation, clean, spacious and simple esthetic and understated color palates for walls and such. Perfect for a work event or meeting, A Christmas Party, Birthdays, any occasion really. I am always in and out, their food doesn't take long to be ready and it is spotless clean inside, just so enjoyable. The main focus here when I have gone in is definitely good food. Also their Indian Tea drink is totally worthy! I just add tons of sugar to mine. :) Hope to see y'all there! YOU CANT GO WRONG GIVING THEM A...
Read moreI stopped here for dinner on the way back from Fort Worth at the recommendation of an Indian coworker who says that this is the best Indian food he has had in the United States. Says it tastes just like what his grandmother used to cook. I had to check this place out. I’m no expert, but have eaten it maybe 10 or so Indian restaurants, and this is easily the best I’ve ever had. I got the lamb curry, and the texture and flavors were awesome. I got the spicy version, which was perfect for me. Temperature was nice and hot when it came out. Even the basmati rice Was easily the best I had ever had. Very fluffy with the perfect amount of oiliness. Garlic naan bread was great. Yes, the meals are a bit more pricey than what you may be used to in this area, but that is because this is a perfect case of getting what you pay for. You are getting some truly amazing, higher quality food that is authentic. I think the pricing was right what it should be. On top of all this, the staff and building are both very nice. The building and atmosphere is way nicer than I would expect. This place is truly a gem and the people who live here are lucky to have it. I hope they support it! If you’re just passing by, stop here, you will not be...
Read moreThis restaurant inhabits what used to be a steakhouse so the decor is not Indian at all. The food was very good to excellent. We had the butter chicken (medium spice) and the Seekh Kabob (medium) along with an app and some various side dishes and bread. Enjoyed them all except the kabob was very spicy compared to the butter chicken. This is not a cheap restaurant and basically everything is al la carte including bread and rice. Portions are not huge but quality is excellent. One appetizer, two indian drinks, 2 entrees, 2 different breads was $92 with tip. (but we had leftovers) Will be back, would recommend. Very limited Indian food options in this area. Odd location, only two other tables on a Saturday night besides ourselves and only saw two staff working front and back, hope they get the business they need...
