Taco Bell — Restaurant in Minnetonka

I have ordered online a couple times for my family. There are 6 of us so it is quite a big order. They never have given us all the food we ordered. We get home, and many items are missing. I was reluctant to try it again, but this last time, I had everyone order their "boxed meals" . Thinking that they will at least put what food is ordered in the box and not send empty boxes. I had my 16 year old son pick up the order, as he was driving past on his way home. They gave him 6 empty cups to fill up, and didn't have a drink carrier. They also did not put the food into the box meal boxes. They piled it all into a couple paper bags. Unfortunately, my son didn't know all the food that was ordered, so he just took and came home. More than 1/2 the items were missing. Several burritos, all of the side dishes, and a couple tacos were not in the package. The manager was very rude to me when I called him back. He did finally agree to remake the whole order and put into the boxes, as we ordered. When I got there to pick it up, he was not going to give me the order, because couldn't prove what I already received. I printed my order and highlighted what we received. As I started to walk out, he said I could take the food. He had all the boxes stacked up and I asked him for a bag. He said he doesn't have any bags! I cannot believe the customer service. Good food and fast drive-thru at this TB but ordering on app stinks. Ordered using cell app and arrived 10 mins. later and TB had NOT received order despite what cell app stated. Order subsequently screwed up when re-ordered (no burrito, wrong sauce given out) over intercom. I asked for "Hot" sauce but got 'Fire'. Why not call the three sauces MILD, MEDIUM and HOT rather than MILD, HOT and FIRE? It would be less confusing to both TB employee and customer. Was informed at window I had to cancel the order-they could not do so. Canceled it, but app said it was too late and then sent me a text saying it had been canceled-DOH! Otherwise would have given it 5 stars. Clean up the app!!!

Update: May 2024 New TB app works well with ease-of-use and periodic food deals. Pickup Food is ready much faster. The new TB at Hiway 7 and Williston Rd. is well-designed and has easy access with friendly employees. When you do order on-site, the readout tells you want you ordered to ensure you get what you ordered. Every order I've made using mobile app has been correct, hot and ready on time. Grab and Go option sure beats waiting in line at the Drive-thru. You deserve 5 stars...

Usually we have really good service at this Taco Bell. Idk what happened but today our order was SUPER incorrect. They missed a taco, (I went back in after going through the drive through to get it, I’m glad I checked.) They missed my daughter’s cheese sauce in her box, they forgot my other daughters cinnamon twists and gave her a crunchy taco instead of a soft taco, gave me the wrong sauce for my chicken nuggets, and gave my husband a beefy 5 layer burrito instead of a bean burrito. Additionally all the boxes we got were really jumbled and were put together incorrectly so we had to sort through the boxes and figure out whose what’s what. The food was put together really sloppy and most of it was ice cold. My chicken nuggets were so over cooked I could barely chew them. I wish I would have caught it all when we went through the drive through but it’s just simply impossible to unwrap everything at the drive through when you are taking it home to eat.
