Read moreDo not order the meatloaf dinner it was made with a bunch of fillers and smothered in gravy, that’s not what I asked for and it was done so, so that you couldn’t see the actual meat because there really wasn’t any. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants and this was really gross. The server was kind but the food was horrible. The salad had pieces of brown and wilted lettuce inside and I asked for the dressing on the side. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were mixed with the previous day’s mashed potatoes or they just kept them for a few days, They were also gray in color not white and they were not seasoned. I have never given a bad response to any restaurant and this is the first. I was gravely disappointed to the point where I feel like I might hurl. I could not wait to get out of there. The corn was day-old shaved corn on the cob, but maybe it was older than that, it had no flavor. The gravy had sugar in it to mask the taste of whatever. The bread roll tasted like yeast but not bread. There was a sign that said help wanted for servers but Honestly they needed help with new recipes. You could go online today and find a good meatloaf recipe that doesn’t require any extra cost except things that you would already have in your refrigerator, but this meatloaf was just a bunch of fillers and day-old vegetables. Maybe the other food was great but I would take a hard pass on the meatloaf dinner. In a day and age when everything cost more and it’s harder for families to go out to dinner, I can’t believe they served this food but the price was fair. I arranged my knife and fork on the plate so that the cook could have a heads up but I doubt they understood what cutlery placement means. There is no need for any rebuttal, or additional comments, it...
Read moreI would give 5 stars for the service the waitress was exceptional. She was friendly, joked around, on top of everything, she gave suggestions when she noticed I didn't like all the unhealthy options for sides for my kids food. She checked on us and offered refills, she was attentive, good service from her. The food was entirely another ball game, Me and my mom, have been kitchen managers for years. She even became the GM. The cook doesn't know what he/she is doing. My youngest got a cheese burger with cottage cheese as side, since the vegetable was corn which is a carb not a vegetable and very unhealthy for so many reason but I won't dive into my nutrition education now. The cheese burger was raw in center I took it home and recooked it for him. My mom's was the opposite overcooked burnt on edges. My sons the oldest chicken nuggets were over cooked, he refused to eat them. The cottage cheese, salad, and potato soup were great. My chicken was first off oozing grease when I cut into it, the bottom was burnt and it had so much salt I had to pour cottage cheese on it to be able to eat half of it. Grease pouring out is a huge sign the cook knows nothing. FYI you let it get really hot so the meat doesn't absorb the grease before adding it to the oil or butter. Cooking 101. I'd give 1 star for the cooks abilities. I left 14 tip the waitress, she shouldn't be punished for the sub par food but I would never go back. Burger king food is better and equally as unhealthy. maybe less unhealthy consider the grease oozing out...
