Drove past several times before realizing it was open since they were renovating. Awesome service and good food. Had shrimp and chicken platter while better half had shrimp only. Fresh deep frying was nice and crispy. French fries were awesome. Chicken was a little dry. Found they have a Facebook page that tells you what the daily specials are. We'll be checking that out. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

Went back after remodel. It looks great and is double the size. All new menu. Our server, Mary B., was awesome. Be sure to ask for her. Husband had chicken wrap and western rolls while I had fried mushrooms and the fried chicken, bacon ranch sandwich. All of it was good. Looking forward to trying other new menu items.

Bang bang shrimp were good sized and a large quantity but could use more bang or heat along with more sauce for my tastes. Never had a hard shell on my crab cakes before and can do without them. So I've passed it many times and haven't pulled in. Today I did! It is not just a grab and go as the original sign states. It is a sit down eat in place as well. What prompted me to stop today is they are NOW SERVING BREAKFAST 😊. Happy Happy. They are open from 7-7 breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I order the "BIg Boy Breakfast" a little sample of breakfast. I have to say everything was absolutely tastey, sausage, ham, bacon, eggs, hashies, pancakes, and coffee. The owner is absolutely fantastic personable and the waitress is just simply great. It’s a country cafe! Don’t expect white cloth table covers and you won’t be disappointed.

I had the fried fish dinner and the southern crispy fish was fried perfectly -not over-battered or greasy.

The fries were perfect also- of a size that they stayed soft in the middle while crispy in the outside (I bet the debris fries are GREAT!)

Husband had the very tasty hamburger plate with mashed potatoes and gravy.
