PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Mississippi

Edit, a few weeks later I went inside. Bought my coffee. Was served by a very polite young man. He made a great white mocha with flavoring. I have gone back a couple more times. A young lady was working. She also was very nice and my coffee was good.

I waited about 5 min to order at the drive thru as they were busy at the time. I have no problem with that. I order a 16 oz white mocha latte with raspberry flavoring.. I get to the window and she has an ice drink for me.. I said, I normally order a hot drink A latte is normally hot unless you ask for an ice drink. Can that be heated? Needless to say there was no offer of, oh let me remake that for you. But I can heat that up for you, was the reply. I took a drink on my way home.. Absolute horrible tasting. I came back and took it inside. They were not busy there was 2 people, with drinks already, at a table. One person at the drive-through. I was ignored by 2 workers.. So I put my drink on the counter and left. I have worked as a barista. I know what a latte is.

I did email the company. I received a prompt reply, offering a free drink card. I don't want the free drink. Just hoping that the employees are given a little bit of customer...

How disappointing. I'm from New Orleans and was so psyched to see we were getting a PJs. I ordered an iced tea (that's what's listed on their menu) and she says, "Green tea?" No. Just iced tea, please. "Black tea?" ....No thank you. Just iced tea like it says on the menu. "Okay, lemme check...okay we have that." I take a sip after driving off and it's black tea and tastes like liquid plastic. And their idea of a "large" is a joke. I ordered several breakfast items for my coworkers and I get handed all of them separately. Asked if I could have a bag for them and am told they don't have any. So that was fun to juggle as I walked into work. My coworker's spinach wrap was cold in the middle, but my other co-worker's breakfast sandwich was so hot she had to wait 10 minutes to eat it. 2 stars since my blueberry...

The coffee here is pretty standard—nothing you can’t find elsewhere—but what keeps me coming back is the incredible manager and the team she’s built. She greets every customer with a smile, makes the best drinks, and genuinely takes the time to connect with people. I used to hop around to different shops, but now im stuck on this one because of the warm, welcoming environment she’s created. You can tell she pours her heart into her team. She recently shared that she’s graduating and moving on soon, and if she sees this—I hope she knows how much she’ll be missed. Best of luck in your...
