Definitely a 10/10 experience. If you don't like a little loud and rowdy experience, then The Back Porch might not be for you. Go check out the front porch down the street.

I was very happy that I chose here amongst the other 25 crawfish locations in Jackson, disregarding the small amount of reviews The Back Porch has. The staff was polite and lively. Loved the live music as well

As for the food, I'd give the craw a 9 out of 10, but was not falling short on anything! Size and spice was all on point. I cannot believe how good the crab and shrimp was too, but I could be biased because I haven't had much crab in my time. Definitely worth trying!

If you're looking for cheap, The Back Porch is not the low cost leader but they don't rip you off on the quality. Their sausage side is surprisingly good

This is not about the wonderful wonderful workers but about the food ALL being cross contaminated with shellfish! I ordered a burger and fries and a side of mushrooms. I had an allergic reaction finding out minutes after that EVERYTHING is cooked in the same oil as the shrimp or on the same grill top as the shrimp! Thank God I had people that knew what to do and thank God I didn't have an anaphylactic reaction but they really need to get grills cleaned after every order or have a grill for shellfish only and have some fryers for shellfish only because this can really hurt someone if they don't know that the food is cross contaminated.... I really appreciated the kind waitresses they were absolutely wonderful... I just in the end wish I could have eaten the food It looked so good and I was so sad I couldn't honestly 😓 thank you all for your amazing hospitality and kindness I'm truly grateful...

3 stars because the food was ok and the beer did not disappoint. But the atmosphere…picture a club with the lights on. Yeah, not pretty. At least my kids could play foosball while we waited for our food. We were attended to by 3 different waitresses. That did not triple the attentiveness. We were left with empty cups. I had to go to the bar for more drinks because one of our waitresses was the bartender. If your goal is to hang out and play pool and get your food whenever, you’re gonna love it.
