Bakery Donuts — Restaurant in Missouri City

I debated whether to write this review for a long time....and it's not because it's a bad bakery. It's actually the opposite...It's a GREAT bakery. It's a nice little hidden gym that most people probably drive by on a daily basis. But to do that would be a big mistake on your part. This is an incredible place. From the food they serve to the service. I only debated whether to write this review because of selfish reasons. I like going there and always finding a seat. But I've decided that i just have to tell everyone about this place. It's a nice little place. Kinda hidden in plan sight. I've been coming here for a long time. It's owned by a very nice couple always nice to everyone who walks in....But let me tell you good people what I've noticed in my time going here. First let me say. There are a lot of bakerys out there. But not like this one. Yes it's an older building. But the care that go's into not only the food. But the upkeep. It's just amazing. How they're always making sure the place is clean and the food is fresh....and the service is beyond what you would expect. Each time I walk in. Im greeted with a greeting that makes me feel like I'm family. Not just a customer and it feels genuine. Not like it's being read from a script. Both the man and his wife are so friendly to everyone that walks in. In short you're doing yourself an injustice by not stopping by....The place is always clean. The food is always good, and they...including the other people that work there. Are...

I walked in to buy a few breakfast tacos today. While standing in line I noticed a fly inside the counter where the food was sitting just flying back and forth landing on the exposed food. (Only the breakfast tacos are wrapped). Naturally I told the 3 employees that they might wanna get that fly and toss all the food it landed on, & they all looked around at one another as if they were confused & seemed put off by my request. Eventually one employee swiped his hand at the fly and only threw away the sandwich it was sitting on when I pointed it out to him. But there was no urgency though. like it was normal. The fact that the food is exposed to the elements, and the way they responded to my request as if I was somehow being unreasonable, brings me to the conclusion that I will NOT be...

Been coming to this bakery for atleast 10 years. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches and kolaches have ALWAYS been delicious. Never had a problem with the food or service...the only complaint, and it's not huge or will even keep me from returning, but it's annoying. This place used to take your card payment with the little machine and the screen would prompt for approval and for email or printed receipt. Now, it prompts for a tip... they themselves have the option to not include that screen or to just hit no tip before even giving it to us to approve the amount, this is annoying. It's drive thru, and nothing extra is done that warrants a tip. I just think it's annoying, but it's still a good place for...
