My wife and I enjoyed our visit overall today. The food tasted great and the price was comparable to Old Hickory Hollow and Pappas if we got the same meal. Definitely visiting again since they are so much closer to my house.

The Food - We got a Sausage plate with potato salad and Mac & Cheese (included a cornbread muffin and fixins), A catfish plate (3 filets and fries The cook made sure to ask how hard she would like it fried) and bonus sides of yams and collard greens to share. The meat was well smoked I could smell it when I opened the door and my plate. When I tasted the greens i could tell the turkey was well smoked and the seasoning was on point. My wife was pleased with her meal and especially loved the fries. The fries were well seasoned and had a Popeyes texture, but thicker cut. All the sides were good but I loved the yams and greens the most.

The Service & Atmosphere - The owners were very pleasant and hospitable. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, but my only issue which really can't be helped is the space is small, so there is not a spot to dine-in but in all honesty I rarely eat in at the other competitors I mentioned earlier. There are spots to sit and wait and the staff is attentive and friendly, but I will order online at their website for my next trip only because I usually am grabbing barbeque solo and not on a wife date.

Today I blessed to meet Mr. Eddie, who is the owner of RB custom BBQ. He is truly a kind and gentle soul who heard the food was my parents and gifted them a variety of amazing and flavorful items from his brisket and ribs to his homemade coleslaw, sweet potato cornbread, and bake beans and he even threw in his homemade pecan bun cake which my father couldn't stop eating as well. My mom and I also enjoyed the flavoring and tender juice smoke ribs and brisket with his signature BBQ sauce very good. Where from New Orleans and we don't play about good food. We will definitely be back to try his potato salad and BBQ chicken, which I'm sure it tastes just as good as it looks. Mr. Eddie just add some more of that special sauce on the side l because I'm coming back soon. Lol! Let’s start with the positive. The beef ribs were falling off the bones with excellent seasoning. The ribs came with two sides. The greens were so good I drank the juice and the potatoe salad was delicious as well. I really don’t eat potato salad but it was off the chain. I also ordered the brisket sandwich but I only received one bun for the sandwich. I ordered the famous fries but they were not cooked all the way. They tasted like they were almost raw. Then we put them in the air fryer at home and then they tasted as if they had no seasoning. If the aforementioned foods were cooked properly and bun for the sandwich had been given, I would have given them a 5 across the board. However, I plan on going back but checking my order...
