My husband and I went here and questioned whether or not we wanted to eat in a restaurant attached to a gas station. Usually these places are not the best. But we were hungry and didn't want gas station food. We sat down and our drink order was taken by one server. Another took our order and said a third girl would be our server. I said, " I thought __ was our server." She said she was and that it had been a long day. We both ordered the chicken fried chicken, mine with a baked potato and fruit and his with no gravy and fries. Our food came out quicker than I was expecting (not good in this situation) and they'd put gravy on my husband's and didn't bring my fruit. I pointed out the gravy issue and the server proceeded to blame our server for putting it in wrong. She brought his back out and again blamed our server, who was standing right there, and they proceeded to argue with each other over whose fault it was. I asked about my fruit. My husband commented that the food tasted like it had come out of a frozen dinner box. I agreed. The whole time we were there, the severs were yelling across the restaurant at customers asking if everything was ok. Our server asked the people next to us if they wanted a brownie and that she was trying to upsell the brownies she'd made. Overall, this was not a good experience and we won't be returning. There's a reason we go the other way on...
Read moreThe waitress, Katie, seemed rude to me from the get go. When I ordered my food I asked for a side of butter and a side of ranch. When she brought my food, she slid it across the table to me and left. No butter, no ranch of course. As a previous waitress for many many years, you do not throw the food to your customers, you ask if there is anything else your customer needs right then. So, I did the eye contact thing...she made eye contact at least 4x but never checked on me. All waitresses know when a customer is making eye contact, they need something. She went near my booth a couple of times, the 3rd time I finally spoke up, asking for my butter and ranch. Of course the sandwich was cold by now as were the mashed potatoes. I personally would have offered to warm at least the potatoes up for my customer...nope, nothing. Never checked on me except when I spoke up. I ate half the sandwich, not the potatoes....I want my butter to melt fully. When I went up to pay, she asked if everything was good...I said "no, certainly not". I rated the food 1 star, bc who knows how good it would have been if I could have eaten it hot. I was kinda thinking about dessert, but if the waitress cannot acknowledge you at all as a customer, why bother. $13.89 totally wasted on a meal I ate 1/2 of the sandwich of. I work hard for my money. I will not waste...
Read moreMy chicken tenders were juicy and the fires here cooked just right the seasoning was great, however DO NOT GO THERE FOR BREAKFAST. My aunt ordered a OVER EASY eggs and hash brown light not crispy, and not only were they both over cooked they were lukewarm. though we are not very picky people we wouldn’t be making this negative comment if our service wasn’t as bad as it was.
It took over 35 min to get our food (we didn’t order much)There was only 4 people besides us so therefor there is no way the kitchen could have been backed up, I’ve worked in a kitchen for a year and my aunt 35 years and never once would we have taken that long in that situation.
The waitress was more worried about her own personal conversations rather than doing her job. Also a waitress came out after us and continued to give us very ignorant looks while we sat in our car getting ready to leave.
Overall the food was mid tear and inconsistent, and in my personal opinion you should never let a costumer leave regretting were they had...
