Maybe we went at a bad time, but the service was absolutely awful. The 2 young waitresses were extremely unfriendly. We got there and waited at the door for 10 minutes to be seated. The older lady at the register never even looked up, and both the young waitresses just kept walking past us. Clara came out from the back and asked them to seat us. Neither of the waitresses was friendly. No one came back after we got our food except to drop off the ketchup and sauces. Never got any of our plates taken or a check. No water refills. Oh, and only maybe 6 other tables in there. We wanted dessert but never even got eye contact. The food was really good but I was really surprised that no one was friendly at all.

On their website they say that you are family and it really does feel like it! The owner herself took our orders, she was restocking things on the table and she would come over we and talk with us! As a janitorial worker this place is immaculately clean! Now for the food!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and is worth a 3 hour drive for us to come back! We are taking so much food leftover home and a taking a few Columbian Arepas home with us, that she makes homemade and she explained how to heat them up at home! They get a 100/10 for All!

A simple unassuming truck stop café with an unexpected South American twist! I always go in for the South American breakfast: onions, peppers, and eggs with a side of fried diced potatoes, and arepa...don't worry! Arepa is a thick savory pancake treat made with corn meal that tastes delicious! You will love it! I have also tried their delicious empanadas; a perfect treat! Though I didn't try the homemade pies, they look delicious! The locals love this place; it is a bit of a destination, and so worth it.

The best breakfast ive had in along time. When the owner said they won #1 breakfast 5 years in a row. She wasn't lying and I seen why. I had the Philly cheese steak omelet and I also ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy, cause I love b&g,. My wife had a 3 meat omelet. When I go out and get b&g I normally have to add salt or pepper not here this is the closest restaurant that b&g to my mother's that ive found. The omlet that I had was full of flavor. Meat egg cheese and either pepper onion or mushroom in every bite. You can tell they take pride in serving food. The atmosphere is very family feeling. The lady behind the register unsure if she is the owner or not but she was the cherry on top very nice and made it feel like going to grandma's house for Sunday dinner after church. She seems to really enjoy seeing the smiles on every ones faces as they leave amd compliment how good the food is. I will...

Has changed names and owners! "Clara's North 65 Cafe" as well as cut main dinning area in half, removed 1/3 of seating in second dinning room, changed menus and even rest rooms. Had a roach go across our table while eating. Our waitress was fast to take our order and drop off the food. Never once came back to check on us. Two of us ordered "mega breakfast" scrambled egges, breakfast potatoes (O'brien) 1 meat, & toast. other 2 in party got B & G. Eggs ordered over easy was over cooked sunny side up, eggs scrambled was plain omlet with shells, potaoes were very greasy and cold, no taste to gravy, funny taste to biscuits and toast was so soft/floppy you couldn't keep jelly on it greasy and cold. For quality of poor food was over priced. I used to eat here every time we came to Sedalia. We will NOT...

My wife and I really LOVE Clara's! We happened to stop in for the first time a few weeks ago as we were traveling cross-state and immediately loved this place! If you like a place that is truly friendly and makes you feel welcome and like a "favorite regular customer", then Clara's is the place. We continue to pass through Sedalia very often and ARE now regular customers, and the food is always excellent...and at a great price. Clara herself is a truly wonderful person that makes sure you are welcome, and a happy customer. If you have ever walked into a place for the first time and knew immediately that it was a Good place to be, then you will be happy when you first come to Clara's North 65 Cafe - and every time after that. Visit Clara's next time you are near Sedalia - you will be very...
