This place was a 10/10. We are in town on a mini vacation at a nearby resort and found this place on Google. I wanted a drink and my husband wanted to watch the game so it worked out. First of all the service was immaculate. Both waitresses/bartenders were super friendly and helpful. I asked them to make me something fruity to drink and they made me something called Chrissy's Drink (sorry if I misspelled it) and immediately fell in love. It was amazing! The food was to die for! We split a half order of their world known chicken gizzards, they were phenomenal, my husband had never tried them and he was hooked. He had the chili cheese burger with seasoned fries and I attempted to have the tenderloin sandwich with onion rings but it was MASSIVE. It is literally a whole tender loin. It was butterflied and flattened before being breaded and deep fried to perfection! I don't have pictures because sadly I was literally starving. Not sure if Marty sees this but thanks for the best meal I've had in a long time. If you happen to be in the area stop by! It is a bar so there is drinking and smoking but nothing crazy. Everybody was definitely having...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped here today on our way home from Osceola. The food is absolutely superb. My grandma loves chicken gizzards and she said these were the best she's has. They don't have the gristle that gizzards often have and they are not overcooked, like so many other places do. My kids had the burgers, fries and onion rings and they are already asking when we can go back. The fries and onion rings are perfectly seasoned and battered. They are crispy, and the onion rings are flaky. The burgers were very juicy and so flavorful. My grandmother and I got the turkey melt, and it was absolutely delicious. It was HANDS DOWN the BEST turkey melt I have ever had. Their fried pickles are also heaven. Their house made ranch is my absolute favorite. I even bought some extra to bring home. The service was amazing. Our waitress was so friendly and down to earth. She checked on us often and spoke to my kids and GMA so sweetly! We will be coming back soon. It's worth the 1.5 hour...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a local dive bar where the locals hang out. We had the chicken fried steak, a French dip sandwich, and a cup of chili. Our food arrived hot and fresh. The French dip had onions and mushrooms added to it, and when combined with the au juice, it became delectable. Their chicken fried steaks were on the large side. They were tender and fried to a golden brown. The gravy needed some salt and pepper, but that was easily solved by ourselves at our table. The chili was a little bland. It was missing certainly something. (Maybe some more chili powder?) Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Just keep in mind that it is a bar, and there is cigarette smoking and at times the music can get a little loud. If you want good food for a really decent price, this place is worth...
