Can I give fewer stars? I should have known from the moment I saw the EXPERIENCED Waitresses Wanted sign that was scribbled on to an old receipt that this would NOT be the 4 Star experience Google promised. I think the staff figured out Google and the interwebs. The waitresses were the least friendly women I've ever encountered. One lady begrudgingly took our drink order for her equally unhappy coworker. Our coffees and waters were jammed in between us in a way that made me feel violated. Was she angry about our 2 drink orders or was she just mad that she lives in the worst town ever? The world will never know. I wanted some fruit with my breakfast my options were canned pears or peaches in heavy syrup. Would I like a scoop of cotrage cheese on that? No. No i would not. We placed our orders. She didn't appear as though she approved. Our food arrived quickly. They save you the trouble of selecting your own jelly by choosing it for you and throwing it on your plate. It was the most hospitable moment of the meal, sadly Mixed Fruit is garbage. Surprisingly (or in hindsight probably not) the cook didn't know the difference between American cheese or cheddar. I'm not typically one to send my food back but there's no way I'm gonna choke down American cheese and Mixed Fruit jelly all in the same meal. A smile might have helped but alas there were literally no smiles as far as the eye could see. Even the diners were pissed. Overall the food was decent. I needed to use the restroom at the end of the meal. It smelled like a moldy basement had a baby with the septic system. I decided to wait. I wish I would have waited for a different restaurant. Update: 4-6-23 NO ONE makes a better fried fish dish than the Silver Dollar. Although the dish is usually made with catfish, you can order Walleye which makes it AMAZING. My plate was $13.99 for soup or salad, a nice side of fries and 3 pieces of incredible fish. It's battered dipped, not breaded and it almost tastes like a tempura batter. Light, NOT greasy, clean tasting, its not only a great value, it's so delicious.🥰 The fries are also bomb, they almost taste like they're double fried...all in all, an A+++ dish all around. My husband always has the lasagna which is a cheesy, saucy, large sized serving of Italian heaven! This is local, affordable family restaurant with efficient service and fast delivery from the kitchen to your table.

We've been there 3x in the last couple of weeks,and if we lived closer, we'd probably eat there much, much more.

Homemade soups, Italian food, locally made desserts, decent prices, good sized portions, friendly servers, there's everything to like. Also, it is deadly quiet in there, not even a radio playing so if there are only a few folks there, it's like eating in a morgue.

So I'm start by saying I went to this location 3 times. The first time the waitress I had ended up being my waitress today . So she remembered as being picky that fine. I order the strawberry French toast . But with the strawberry on the side and a Ribeye steak only! Mind you im looking at both items on the menu at the time I ordered it. After ordering i I said for a soda. The waitress definitely forgot about it. I had to remind her. It arrives in a dirty cup. I get her attention, she get mad. I asked for a new soda in a to go cup. Lol she bring just a empty cup. Again it was a minute before I could get her attention again to get the soda. Then upon getting my check I noticed the price wasn't right. I talked to who I'm assuming was the manager. And her and the waitress basically tried to accuse me of lying. But yet the waitress was to busy to fix a problem she created. She charge me for regular French toast separately for the strawberry cause I said and the side. And for a steak dinner even though I only had a steak.
