If I could give this a zero star rating for management, it would happen. How is there only 2 workers in the store during prime supper rush??? I put in a mobile order to be picked up by 5:28pm. When I get to the store at 5:35, the door is locked and 17 cars in the drive through. I have to be to work at 6pm and that's why I placed my order when I did. Finally, a lady inside the store went to the workers, after I had politely knocked on both doors, walked around the building, and then she came to the door to tell me there are only 2 workers working so they lock the door... She returned to the counter to tell them my name and they finally brought my order to me.
What kind of Management would leave two (2) teenage workers at a store during supper rush???
Horrible, horrible planning on their part. Some people cannot sit in a drive through for 30 min at a time. Hire some employees or get your management self inside to help out during prime times.
update It's not the teenage workers fault. I wasn't mad at them for doing what they are told by lazy management. I told the young man who brought my order to me that it wasn't his fault, but...
Read moreBest Dairy Queen experience ever! First off, the friendly guy taking our order looked like the dude from Stranger Things. So right off the bat, things were looking pretty good. There were three of us. I ordered two chili dogs. And OMG, the chile on those hot dogs was to die for! It had a little bite to it. The consistency of the meat was fantastic. Plus… no beans! I hate chili beans. So - score! Now get this. Halfway through our meal, the entire staff behind the counter broke into song. It was some song that started playing over their sound system. But they were all into it. And it was very cool. Plus, to add to the atmosphere, there was a father of three very young kids who was entertaining them with french fries and ice cream. The chocolate cone he got for his son was almost as big as the kid’s head. But he ate it at all! When they left, the little girl was barefoot and carrying her small cowboy boots. It was adorable. All in all, this was one of the best fast food experiences I’ve ever had. If I ever get back to Mitchell, SD., I’ll be sure to stop again. And yes, this review is...
Read moreFood was good, but service was rude. I understand the store was closing and they wanted to close the doors, but I waited 10 minutes to order in the first place. Then asked for ketchup and was told “I didn’t charge you for ketchup.” Since when does Dairy Queen charge for ketchup? Ranch and such I understand but ketchup? Also they put fudge in my blizzard, that WASNT supposed to have fudge in it? It was half melted too, because they’d forgotten to give it to me and I had to ask, apparently it had just been sitting behind the counter for nearly 10 minutes. Also didn’t do the upside down thing. Plus a couple other little things that left a bad impression, I didn’t even say anything about the blizzard because I just wanted to get out of the store and away from...
