First, do not sit at the booth when first walk in on the left hand side of the door. It is right next to a doorbell that rings whenever someone opens the door. The restaurant is a great and random find, attached to a gas station. It was lunch time/midday when we went and it was not busy at all. The chips were good and the salsa brought to the table was a cooked salsa, not what I’m use to but it wasn’t bad. For a starter we ordered the queso fundido. It was not a cheese dip but rather a big thing of melted cheese with chorizo on top. Think along the lines of saganaki, so that made it difficult to eat. My boyfriend and I ordered burritos. Mine was carnitas and it was delicious. I actually loved the size of it. It wasn’t too big, and the salsas that it came with, the Verde and hot were great too.

Rafael gave me the best customer service here! I’m traveling from California and it was so nice to sit in AC and eat such a delicious carne asada burrito at a great price! Made a new lifelong friend along the way 😇 This place is family owned and operated, and you can really feel it as soon as you step inside!

Customer service is amazing and the food is authentic!!! We cleaned our plates up. They are very generous with servings. I forgot to take a picture of the food, but the plates were left clean!!!!! Come visit this place!!!

7/31/24 Nice little restaurant. The food is excellent. My friend and I try and go every Wednesday for our girls day out lunches. We used to go to La Fonda which is closer to where we live in Logandale / Overton, but the prices have gone up unreasonably and the quality of their food has been going down at that restaurant unfortunately since ownership changed. We'd heard good things about Chili Poblano and are glad to have a great option for Mexican cuisine close by! We try something new every time we go and I always get an order to go for my boys. They're an exceptionally good restaurant! We have Maria is always our waitress and we LOVE her. She is awesome, friendly and sweet and very hardworking... and great at her job. We always look forward to seeing her! She always remembers what drinks we like! When they are very busy, she is often the only waitress and does great. One time we were in another young man helped by bringing drinks and food out to lighten the load. They both worked very hard to make sure everybody was served and attended to that day. They did an excellent job. The kitchen also does a fantastic job we always get our food super fast regardless of how busy they are and it was delicious.

Part of past review from aOur previous visit... I took some burritos to go, for my kids. They thoroughly enjoyed them. My friend and I had burritos that day as well, and they were great. Yesterday, my friend had carnitas tacos and I had the shrimp ceviche tostadas. I was only able to eat one. They're a little messy and a lot delicious. I brought the other one home for one of my kids to try, who loves shrimp. He thought they were excellent too. Also the tortilla chips have been hot and fresh both visits. The salsa is a little different, and has kind of a chili taste to it. It's unique and is very good and not too hot. The Coca-Cola fountain drinks are also really good. I know that's an odd thing to review, but some restaurants don't have the mix down or perhaps the machines aren't kept up as well. But both times, we really enjoyed our Coca-Cola more so than at other restaurants and we're offered to-go cups we gladly accepted. We will be making this a regular lunch stop and I'll be bringing my family...

Normally the service is good and the food is also but today was anything but good on either end. No one there was old enough to be left onTheir own running a restaurant. No offense to the servers they were just very young and inexperienced. Ordered their pablono burrito asked if I could add marinated pork to it and if they could do a half order of nachos to go along with my meal. everything had to go to the cook and then back to me. To add pork to an already full burrito was 5 bucks they could do a half order but only for full price. Then when i got my burrito it had a whole red bell pepper cut up and lightly warmed along with a huge piece of bacon fat that all came out in one bite still cold and completely inedible. The bell peppers were crispy as could be maybe grilled for a few seconds. Server was very rude about it but took it off the bill which was 50 bucks for Carne fries, chicken burrito and asada burrito. All of which tasted nothing like it has in the past. The cook came out and looked like a dirty white teenager who obviously has no understanding of food born illnesses causes from undercooked pork chicken or the one piece of shrimp that was in my bellpepper burrito. Careful I guess is all I can warn everyone. Depends on whe staff obviously but today was discusting, the food, service and the lack of anyone there to assist and teach those...

OMFG BEST FOOD EVER.. I LOVE THIS PLACE.. THEIR FOOD IS INSANELY AUTHENTIC AND TO KILL FOR.. MARIA is the sweetest, nicest, most caring, pretty young lady in there making it the best. THEY ALWAYS GIVE A MILITARY OR VETERAN DISCOUNT WITH PROPER ID. They do this to make sure only us vets are getting this discount. There's some guy on here complaining that he didn't get his discount bcuz they didn't understand how to read his dd214. GOOD JOB ON THEM. If you don't have any ID, CARD, to show you've served, that's on you. Don't give a negative review for that. They DO 100% GIVE MILITARY / VETERAN DISCOUNTS with an ID CARD. Lastly, the food is just so good. OMG I can't enough of their food. It's my twice a week - GET MY WEEKLY FIX FOR SPOT. I'd drive from St George just to eat here. Their Carne Asada is perfect, not dry, or over cooked or over seasoned. They make the pork old school and adobada authentically wrapped in the leaves and slow cooked. Lots of gluten free items. Fresh chicken taquitos, not dry, crispy shell, with creama on it & Mexican cheese. Their guacamole is fresh, avocado chunks mixed with cilantro and onions hint of lime juice. ALWAYS GIVE MARIA A HARD TIME. THAT'S TRADITION.. LOL YOU'RE WELCOME MARIA! I...
