Angie’s Place — Restaurant in Mokelumne Hill

My first stop at Angie's place. Having a great experience very friendly atmosphere ⭐ Great beverages ⭐ Very clean ⭐Very friendly staff ⭐Very reasonable prices ⭐ Very clean restroom. Overall experience fantastic. I would highly recommend this place even if you're going for a quick cup of coffee on a long trip into the Sierras. Can definitely see the friendly atmosphere to the locals here, very welcoming to random travelers as well. Are server was Angie the owner. I have to say they have the best coffee in the entire area. And I've owned multiple coffee shop. I don't work here nor have I ever been here before or even know the owners. But they make you feel right at home. I received no compensation whatsoever for this review. If you're driving through at least stop for a great cup of coffee. I probably shouldn't have even tried this place as I absolutely loved Frank's cafe so maybe I'm a little bias but, it just wasn't even close. The country fried steak was tough, the gravy tasted sweet instead of savory, and the biscuit was like eating chalk. Let's not even talk about the hash browns or country potatoes, neither of which could even hold a candle to the potatoes Frank's served. I really wanted to like this place but it's just not that good. Not to mention everything is more expensive now too. One positive is they're open on Sundays, which was my only knock on Frank's. Stopped in and we were seated quickly . The service was excellent, the food was even better ! My husband had the basic sausage ,hash browns and eggs eggs with a biscuit . Every single thing was delicious! I had country fried steak and eggs with country potatoes , again the food was delicious !
