Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Monett

This location closes at 10pm. A group of us arrived before 9:30pm and walked in the door to mats pulled and floors mopped. The staff glared at us from the counter as we walked in with no greeting. They waited on us, but they were blatantly obvious that they did not want to serve us. Our food arrived quickly, insinuating the fryers and grills hadn’t been shut off yet. A point was made by two young staffers to walk behind us after we sat down to turn off the “open” sign so no other patrons would enter.

Typically, this is an establishment we enjoy, but hard to want to spend your money when it’s obvious your business...

UPDATE: Some days, like today, the floor is so sticky that it feels like the previous night's closers literally mopped it with soda syrup. Still pretty good on every other level. I can't be too mad at them having a lazy closing manager. We've all seen that! ORIGINAL: Very good food and service. I had a burger combo with fries and soda. Typical of lots of teenagers working it. Order was wrong. 4 burgers. 2 as is, 1 no tomato, 1 plain. Both requests ignored. 1 fry missing, 4 drinks, 1 straw, no napkins, TOLD me there was ketchup in bag... Nope. Two sundaes. No spoons lol No one cares there.

I asked for BBQ sauce in the drive through... Once they gave me all my food they told me the packets cost $0.50 each. So I awkwardly gave them a dollar because they didn't bother just put it on my order in the first place lol.

There is no critical thinking going on...
